This is very good product. The one fault I have with it is that it's in my bedroom and at night the lights that emanates from the router are so bright.

not only is this an excellent product, but the support people are wonderful -- skilled, patient, extremely helpful. They may have the BEST technical support of any computer-related product I have ever bought.I am a physician, but this network router set-up is complex. I had to call a second time when there was a newer computer with the 5 capability (taking advantage of the dual channel finally), and they were again terrific!

This router would work very well if I didn't have a high speed internet connection requiring a higher buffer capacity. Atlas Media customer service was great at helping me determine after using the router for 5 weeks that it wasn't going to work well with the internet connection that I was using. They gave me a full refund on the router even though I had used it past the 30 days return time frame. They indicated that they would possibly be getting a router that would work for my situation in the future.

I have nothing but good things to say about this router!! I bought 2 of them and use 1 as a "router" & 1 as a "range extender" my setup couldnt be anymore perfect & I love my setup now more then ever. I will never use another router again this router and range extender is just awesome so awesome.............

It's a marginal router at best and here is why. Just an FYI I only used the 5ghz in the confines of an apartment.Setup- Aesthetically it is sleek and inconspicuous with just a cable needing to be attached to the modem and the supplied ac adapter needing to be plugged in. The directions are simple until the very end when you have to turn off the router and let it reset itself. Was just about to send the thing back until magically it started working since the manual didn't spell this out clearly. You get to name your own network and put a password in but just having a preset one on the side of the unit (like Linksys and Netgear do!) would have worked far better. Setup is a needless pain.Range- The most important part of a router is the range. It's awful. It's just awful. Don't close the doors or else the signal range will go down dramatically.The only way to get max speed is to sit within 15ft and after that you will see signal and speed loss.Speed-The modem I have set up can reliably get 100mbps but the router struggles to go over 40. Don't even bother connecting a 360 or PS3 to this wirelessly since speeds vary wildly and can barely get over 40 mbps. If you have consoles get them corded, for a Wii get an Ethernet USB adapter. I only use the router for my iPhone 5S and iPad 2 and for them the speed is fine but anything faster like a 6 or 6S this router would be a big damper on the speed.Finally, I don't recommend this router. So many other routers are easier to set up, have greater range, and have greater speed. The discount I received for this item kind of offset the flaws but there are way better routers out there for a comparable price. Other reviews have said that the lifespan of this router is only a few months and if it dies when/if it does.I received this item at a discounted price in return for an honest review.
