Awesome pen
I bought this as a treat for myself to celebrate a work achievement - I looked at a lot of others, but kept coming back to this one. I was not disappointed - it really is a work of art, it feels so "right" in my hand and I look forward to using it for many years to come. However, I'm currently having issues finding refills - Georg Jensen doesn't make them any more, so I'm trying a few generic brands to see what will fit: I will update this review if I find some... otherwise, I'll be using it less than I want to!EDIT: I found some generic refills that fit just fine - https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B09YD1BRCQ?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Writing with the Master's silver pen.
Georg Jensen is, arguably, the most highly-regarded silversmiths of the 20th century. The flagship store in Copenhagen is also a museum. Breathtaking works of art. This hand-hammered pen is the writing instrument I have sought out for decades. It was more than I could afford, but this beauty was worth every penny! This solid silver, hand-crafted pen is a joy to write with and hold. The venerable hand-hammered method brings out the best in the silver, in my opinion. If buying as a gift...don't; it's too expensive to give to someone who doesn't appreciate the remarkable background of the artisan or the unique excellence here. And keep it at home! Any pen is easy to lose track of; I've left many fine pens, inadvertently, at banks, supermarket counters, etc. NOT this artwork, which I've wanted since my last visit to Denmark, in 1988. If you're a writer and a working-class hero...BUY this masterpiece. Only you, yourself know if you 'deserve' it. There are plenty of lesser European pens which cost thousands...but Georg Jensen outclasses them all...with a quiet elegance and functional perfection. I'm blissfully happy with my purchase [$250 elsewhere, IF you can find it.]. Buy it if you have earned it; the best gift for yourself...EVER!Dr. Gary K.

Very Elegant
This is an exceptionally handsome pen. I have several "favorite" pens, but this one has been given the prime spot on my desk. It is heavier than your typical plastic pen. Not mentioned in the description, it is "twist to open" which is my preferred style. I personally find that having to remove a cap from a pen in order to write is a nuisance.
