I haven’t unfolded the duvet all the way or washed yet, but fabric is cute and feels pretty nice. I would call this gingham a bright goldy yellow- kind of like sunflower yellow. If you’re looking for daffodil yellow this isn’t it. This matches brighter golden yellows and also mustards- it’s not a super dark mustard though and still a cheery enough yellow to lighten up a small extra bedroom that I will be saturating in a very dark green paint. The piping is, in fact orange(not mustard)- it kind of screams road construction🤣…but if that’s not going to be prominent or it doesn’t bother you this is a nice duvet/shams for the price. I have purchased a couple other inexpensive duvet sets from Amazon in last couple of years- this fabric feels nicer/like it will wash softer than those.

I had looked at a similar hand-made set on Etsy for over 2x the price but could not get satisfying answers and was afraid to purchase. So glad I didn't! This is perfect for the "French" bedroom I am setting up for my sweet niece!

I like this duvet cover except for the fact it has a small zipper opening. The button duvet covers open at least 3/4 across the bottom. I found the zipper only opened maybe 1/2 way if that much. Very hard to get the duvet insert in. The material is of good quality and is not thin or scratchy.

I bought this cover for my sister who's going off to college this Fall, and she loves it. It's just a basic cotton blend, so it's not the softest cover I've ever felt, but with the duvet insert inside, it should be comfortable in any weather. Just remember it is a duvet COVER, not a full comforter, so you'll need to also purchase an insert to fill it out. But the black and white makes for a nice, understated, minimalist feel in any room.

This duvet is darker than pictured, a deep mustard yellow, not bright yellow. Beware.

I ordered the king size for our master bedroom. It fits and looks great! The only down side is that it barely fits and you have to be meticulous if you want the sides to match and hang over your mattress evenly. I’ve seen that with most covers so I’m guessing that’s the way it’s “supposed” to be just not my personal preference.

The fabric is quite thin, which might be OK for some, who are looking to not adding extra weight to their blankets. But because of that, the fabric "behaves" a bit different than normal covers, moving around over the duvet like a potato bag that is too loose.Though it looks like flannel on the photo, it is smooth regular fabric.When I first took it out from the packaging, it was impregnated with a finish that felt so unnatural that first, i did not believe it was cotton. After several washings it feels more cotton-like. I considered buying another one, if I liked it. After seeing the duvet cover close up, I will not buy another one.But it is OK.

I bought this and I did not expect it at all, I thought there would be a bed sheet and the thing that goes over the comforter . But there was only 2 pillows and a thin blanket, definitely not worth $50.
