Only time will tell
The Chrome Style Euro License Plate Holder - Universal Mounting Frame/Bracket is just that nothing more nothing less. It seems to be made of strong ABS plastic with the chrome plating that is very shiny. Once on the car the tag fits pretty snug and the bottom locking trim snaps in pretty secure unlike others I have seen. My only worry as with other chrome plated plastics, only time will tell if the chroming process will withstand the test of time and the environment. In my particular case using a black frame was not an option for my taste. I installed this Chrome Style Euro License Plate Holder - Universal Mounting Frame/Bracket on my white 2009 Mercedes C300 that has a chrome trim on the trunk lid so they complement each other pretty good. As for the price, I was in a rush to get this Chrome Style Euro License Plate Holder - Universal Mounting Frame/Bracket so I feel that I paid a premium price for it. You might have better luck of you expand your search at other online sites.

Extremely Cheap Quality
The EU license plate holder is made of extremely cheap material and is of the lowest quality. If you're considering purchasing this, I would suggest looking elsewhere.

Decent chrome frame with a few issues.
This frame is excellent for displaying European sized license plates. The chrome finish is highly-reflective and also features a slim black border that complements the black-painted embossed border of Euro plates.One star was taken off because I had a hard time getting the plate to go in. The design is an extremely tight fit (unlike the black plastic counterpart) which requires slight bending of the plate in order for it to properly go in both sides. My experiences with other Euro frames did not have this complication as they fit perfectly without bending. -1 starAlso in the process of installing the plate (and due to the issue I encountered), the black border finish was easily scratched off, leading me to question the finish's durability. -1 star

Sharp looking frame!
Nice item, as described. Just be aware that it is plastic. It's really a frame rather than a bracket. You'll want a firm place to mount it. It looks great!

Poorly Constructed.
I returned this product because it can in the wrong color, but beware it doesn't come with mounting screws or instructions.
