I was looking for a high quality notebook that I could use as an idea and research journal.I also wanted something that looked and felt more professional, but didn't want anything as austere or drab looking as the normal black and brown leather notebooks normally marketed to professionals.The colour and look of this one was vibrant and cheerful enough to catch my attention.It's of a smaller size than I'm accustomed to, but carrying my normal notebooks has always been a bit of an issue as they get dog eared quickly and anything of reasonable size doesn't fit in my small shoulder bag well. I took a chance and bought it. Having just received it, even without using it yet, I'm glad I did. It is exactly as advertised. It seems to fit very well in my shoulder bag, and still feels large enough for me jot down everything I want without feeling cramped.The faux leather is thick and of high quality. Soft but durable with even high quality stitching. The elastic that both binds it and keeps it closed is thick and strong enough not to give me any concerns. The covers both have fairly deep pockets which I know I will be using.The two winning qualities for me however are the unique style of the binding and the quality of the paper.The binding is unique from any other notebook I've ever owned. It's bound by the same type of elastic that holds it closed, and it's comprised of 3 separate paper inserts (think mini notebooks) which can be slid out and replaced with different inserts of whatever paper type you prefer. I think that's genius as it allows the notebook to be refilled without the need for punched paper, and different paper types can be substituted very easily. Even more importantly, and easily overlooked is that this type of binding leaves a lot of room inside the notebook for pictures, notes, or whatever scrap-booking type stuff you'd want to toss in. I often attach sketches, business cards, post it notes, and other material to the pages of my notebooks and the result is that they are quickly overloaded. That certainly won't happen with this one, and the fact that you're operating with multiple inserts naturally provides you with section dividers. I also really like that if lies flat when opened, which you usually don't get in ring or coil notebooks.In regards to the paper I did some initial testing. The blank white paper the notebook comes with is surprisingly good quality. It is of higher than average GSM. My pencil marks came away clean when erasing, and initial tests with a few pens and markers had considerably less bleeding then on my regular five-star notebook. I think this type of binding vs coiled provides more usable space on the page. It seems that with this binding type, the pages are also far less likely to tear.One thing that made me smile - I often use my notebooks, as many people do, as a compliment to using Evernote. For me personally, the fact that they are both branded with an elephant is an awesome match. I hope they come out with an Evernote green version in the future!Lastly, this product was delivered much more quickly than advertised. Getting stuff shipped out to me from the States to middle of nowhere British Columbia Canada usually ends up to a week and a half minimum shipping time. We got this faster than we normally get our Canada Amazon stuff in. Very impressed.I'm going to give this notebook a try for a while and update my review, but I have to say, I'm excited to start using it!

Love this little orange TN. It has nice, thick leather in beautiful color. My Jibun Techo B6 slim fits nicely.

Very soft leather TN. Fits B6 stalogy very well. Comes with a couple of blank notebooks that really come in handy. Definitely recommend...this has helped me find planner peace!

This journal is PERFECT! Great size, great color. It comes with 3 fantastic little books and has a pocket in front and back. I am shocked at how good the quality is at this price. I would buy this again in a heartbeat.I am updating this after 6 months or so of having this journal I still love it!

YouTube's One Book July coincided with the end of my (literally) irreplaceable Nanami A5 grid notebook. A Staology B6 replaced it and this TN cover now houses that. So far, so endearing. I'm not sure if it's real leather but the knots for the strings are perfectly done in a way that doesn't interfere with the lay of the notebooks and the secretarial pockets are sized to adequately hold onto papers and supplies. These same pockets can also be used to sheath the front and back covers of a notebook. The color is actually quite good. It's more an autumnal than a bright orange, almost a neutral shade (in my orange loving opinion). And the feel in the hands is just right - malleable without being flimsy and floppy.

I got this travelers notebook as a gift for my sister who loves to document her travels. She loved the color – it’s very vibrant. The size of the notebook is perfect, big enough to add images and photos and small enough to carry easily in your purse.

Excellent quality. Very well made. I went looking for more on Amazon because I need an A5 but there were none. I hope that the company starts to sell more of these TN in different color and sizes.

This notebook speaks quality and function. The leather is a beautiful pebbled red, the kind of bulletproof leather used in fine German wallets of which I have a number. It comes with 3 small notebooks with fine yellow paper, the higher quality paper that can be used with fountain pens. This notebook will also accommodate even thicker diaries, my main reason for choosing it. It is easily worth it’s $40 price.
