Bella Sun LuciTomato & Artichoke Pasta Sauce

I bought a jar of this in Red Bluff, CA. I am not a picky eater, but this was absolutely the worst sauce I have ever bought. Usually anything with artichoke is a hit with me. In this sauce all the artichoke pieces were very fibrous and inedible. The sauce itself had an odd flavor in it. Truly, I'd give it a zero if I could. Having said that, if all the jars were as bad as mine, they would no longer be in business, so if you're feeling brave and don't mind wasting a few bucks, give it a try! And, yes, I did eat it within a month of buying it, so I didn't let it go bad!

Delicious! I've bought the sun-dried tomato pesto for years and my husband and I just tried this sauce and we love it. I have no idea what that 1-star review was about; the artichoke hearts were not fibrous, and I don't usually care for artichokes. I did add some ground beef (per hubby request) and simmered a bit, then had it over raviolis. Yum. Will definitely purchase again.

Every time I go to NorCal, Chico to be precise, I go to Mooney Farms and get this Bella Sun Luci Tomato and Artichoke Pasta Sauce. I use it straight on spaghetti or other pasta, or also use it as a base and add onion, and meat of some kind, perhaps with some tomato sauce and paste. It's just plain wonderful!
