This is the second time I’ve bought this product as I wore out the first vegetable peeler after several years of use. It is by far my preferred tool for peeling vegetables. The steamer works great too.

There are dozens of expandable stainless steel steamer baskets available, but this is one has a great advantage over most of them: Its center post is long enough to extend above the steamed veggies, making it easy to grasp. Hard to believe that other manufacturers don’t understand the need for that, but they don’t.Furthermore, this steamer basket is 100% stainless steel – NO plastic!I bought the 9” model, which fits perfectly in my four-quart stove-top pressure cooker. Its tripod legs keep the basket an inch above the water. The center post and legs are robustly attached to the basket base.A vegetable peeler is also provided. It appears to be of decent quality, but I have no need of it.

They listed a "Cooking eBook" included with this purchase but I didn't find any information telling me how to access it. They did list a business card with a promo code and the contact info to sign up to receive discounts. I just e-mailed that support e-mail address to ask about the ebook so we'll see how that goes.I purchased this and a smaller one by O'Salata. They both arrive with the identical free julienne peeler and have similar stainless steel foldable baskets. The O'Salata one opens and closes a little easier, feels a little sturdier, and has foldable legs with silicone feet. This steamer is just fine, that's why I'm giving it 4 stars. If I didn't order both of them at the same time, I wouldn't have been able to scrutinize this one as much without the direct comparison.

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! Goodbye serving plate, strainer and steamer (sold separately) because with this Vegetable Steamer you have all of those in one. I wash my veggies in the steamer, then cook them in it and then serve them on it!!!!The size of the box is very unassuming so don't fear that you bought the wrong product, open up the box (BEWARE of the peeler - that is very sharp) and you will discover two very useful kitchen products that you will soon wonder why you never bought before. The steamer is quite unique, it actually 'spins' or 'opens' up to fit the size of most any frying pan or pot. The steamer has three little peg legs at the bottom which are approx half inch, this allows you to place the steamer directly within the frying pan/pot, allowing for you to cook something on the frying pan while cooking your favorite vegetables (separately) together without having to use another burner & pan. I love cooking potatoes and broccoli/cauliflower/squash and this product allows me to start my potatoes on the bottom and then place all my veggies right above them. The vegetables get the heat and steam (and flavoring!!) from the potatoes cooking right under them!! It really is worth the money - you will likely end up buying more than one of these!!!

I bought this steamer specifically to use in my Instant Pot pressure cooker. It fits perfectly inside and the hook makes it easy to take out when it's done. I can make more hard and soft boiled eggs on the steamer than on a trivet. It definitely holds a lot of food overall. And it's actually taking the place of my trivet when I do pot-in-pot cooking in my pressure cooker. The steamer feels very sturdy and is well- balanced. Very easy to clean, too, and it folds in small enough that it takes very little storage space. I'm very pleased with this steamer and feel it was a good choice to use in my pressure cooker.

I like and being mechinacal enjoy the magic. also the toy veg add on seems like qualty, but threaded center post was shipped. my package had the main item, (amazing) the hook and the not so much toy, ( will report after use) but no basket centr post, should have 4 items 1. the product. 2. the lifting hook. 3. The threaded post to lift out of the pot. + the veg toy..The Julian, toy seems or has potential of being great, the basket likewise, but sadly no center post.I will change my review once this problem is resolved, tho I can make my own..Sad that a worker, blinked, when packing this kit. Of corse it is all metric, tho i do have metric dies. to make my own..I expect no return, I like the sob just send me the threaded center post. then I will give 5 to 4 stars, depending on the response.Been contacted by the seller, and said will ship an replacement, that I hope is complete, I will change my rating whin I see it, Love all else about all, will work, but without that dam center post , this basket is worthless, sorta..Time will tell.Note, not the sellers fault, the manufactures , in the packing department IS.. Sumone blinked...Dam cat !The part that was missing was here all the time, my young cat snagged it and I did not see it until I after I wrote my original review, my first clue was that cat was playing with the package, and low and behold, it was the center post.I am sorry to they that require it , I now have all parts and love it, will use tonight and many days/years to come...Anyone want a kat?Lmao...No fault to the manufacture nor the seller, just a cat that thinks everything I own is his plaything....

Works great in an insta pot and in a regular pot. Dishwasher cleans it fine, so yes, easy to clean! Handy handle to pull it out so no chance of getting burnt. Good product for the price.

I've been looking for a veggie steamer for a long time. Nothing ever looked like it would last long. I saw this and decided to try it because it was a great price. I am so glad I did. This thing is very well made and I love how it folds up so compact for easy storage. The peeler that came with it is great too and I love the julienne side. I will admit that when I saw how small the box it came it was, I was not expecting much. I thought it would only fit in a little sauce pot. But when I opened it I was surprised how big it is. Other steamers are so flimsy but this one is solid. Great buy!

Le falta altura en las patas, ya que no puedes ponerle tanta agua porque inundarias las verduras que cocines al vapor, por lo que se me han quemado y no logra sostenerse abierta a la altura que desees porque por el peso de la verdura cae, en si si es tal como viene en la foto pero a mi no me funciono para cocer al vapor las verduras de mi bebe.

I just received this today. First of all, I had an issue with downloading the eBook, and the seller promptly resolved this. I haven't had a chance to try it yet but I did set it in my 3 qt Instant Pot Lux Mini and it fits beautifully. Tomorrow I pick up my 6 qt Instant Pot Lux at the post office (don't judge LOL I've become a fanatic and yes I ordered it through Amazon) and I know it will fit great in that too, because the design ensures it will fit any size pot, Instant Pot or otherwise. The design and construction appear very sturdy so I'm looking forward to trying this. Overall I'm very impressed with both the product and the seller, and the eBook provides some great guides and recipes. I have a good friend with a mini the same as I have, she may be receiving this as a gift!

Your steam basket is perfect i use it all the time in my pressure cooker.I like the way it opens and closes so it fits snug in any size bowl/pan and closes around the food when you lift it from the middle with the hook and its easy to clean but not that easy to dry as i dont have a dishwasher so i leave it to drip dry.I cant imagine being without one now fantastic product.

Ottimo per le verdure ma anche per cuocere la carne lessa con le verdure senza che si rilasciano e si sfaldano nel brodo .

This bundle of items is well worth the price. The items are of good quality stainless steel. The long hook to pull out the steamer from your pot is a nice addition and I am glad the vegetable shredder and slicer was included. I had not used one before and find it useful to dress up my salads. N.
