Great printer
If you need a printer that gives you high functionality, a TON of options, and you need to make high quality labels you have found it. If you want to make labels for the spice rack or the tool shed this might be a little much for you. Otherwise, excellent printer.

Easy to use and prints fast!
As a company we have used Dymo labelers for years and have always had issues and have gone through multiple labelers and have never been happy. We switched over to the Brady BMP41 and are nothing but impressed! It feels extremely durable and prints the labels so fast! The other feature that is nice is the label tape is easy to peel and stick to your item. You don't have to spend a ton of time fighting the corners to peel the label.Overall super happy and will now purchase these for all our technicians.

Really excellent label printer
I went back and forth trying to find and choose a label printer that would fit all of my needs as an IT professional. I wanted something that could print a wide range of labels, types, materials, and use cases. I also wanted it to have fast printing speeds, good quality print results, and be an overall workhorse. The BMP41 fits all of this and more. I am very pleased with this purchase and I'd recommend it for anyone needing more than a basic label printer.Pros:* Everything mentioned above.* Full QWERTY keyboard which makes manual label printing and typing much easier* Nice big LCD screen so you can see how your label will look before printing* A whole lot moreCons:No good review would be legit without mentioning some things that are of concern. That being said here are a few.* Labels are EXPENSIVE. There is no getting around this. These are proprietary labels and Brady is the ONLY manufacturer who makes them for their machines. You can't even buy 3rd party cartridges for this as far as I've seen and believe me I've looked. The 1" wide 25ft vinyl label ribbons I use are $50+. Given that these labels need to last a long time and be very sturdy I suppose I don't mind spending the extra money, but if you were thinking about using these labels for everyday labeling that would not be a good or cheap thing to do.* Cartridge locking mechanism. This was something I knew about before purchasing and its really more of an annoyance than anything. There is a sliding locking mechanism that locks the ribbon cartridge into place and also feeds the ribbon to the print head. If you leave this lever locked in between printing labels it puts a half circle impression on the label itself. What then happens in the next label you print has that impression in it which can cause the printing in that area to be messed up. You'd have to see an image of what I am talking about to understand this. It is a design flaw really that probably could be fixed by Brady but never was in this model. Since I either create many labels in a row using the Workstation software, or I only print 1 label at a time every so often, I get around this issue by simply leaving the cartridge lock unengaged when I am not printing. This would probably not be an idea situation for someone who needs to quickly print 1 time labels on a regular cadence, but again I knew this model had this issue before I bought it, so keep this in mind before you do.* Brady Workstation Software. This software is what you have to use in order to use the more advanced functions of the printer like if you want to create QR barecodes, import sequenced labels, etc. The software itself has it's share of bugs that are annoying but somewhat easy to navigate around. The real issue is it is extremely expensive to license. The free download will allow you to do many basic label jobs, but if you want functions like import from databases, excel/csv files, etc, you better be ready to pony up big dollars, and I mean hundreds and in some cases over a thousand to do this. All in all, its a great printer with a ton of capabilities. You only have to decide if what you will pay for these features is worth your capital investment in them. I took 1 star off of the review based on the cons I listed above, but maintain the other 4 stars because the printer really does do everything it says it can and does it well.

Best Label Maker I've Owned
This is the best label maker I've owned. I've used Dymo and Brother printers and they are no where near as feature rich as this model. Add labels that have 10 years of adhesion and I was sold.
