This is my introduction to selfie sticks. I've resisted buying one because I have felt like there's a certain stigma to owning and using a selfie stick, but my husband and I travel together a lot and I want to be able to get god pictures of us together without having to carry around and set up a huge tripod, implore a strange (often in a language they don't speak) to take one for us or to settle for horrible arms length selfies. I have to say, after trying this one out, I'm a believer! This thing does nearly everything!!! Here's what I love about it:QUALITY - This is a VERY high quality, sturdy and well made selfie stick and tripod! Nothing about it feels cheap or flimsy which is a big deal to me.DESIGN/VERSATILITY - The guys who designed this thought of almost everything! I love how it all goes together so simply and easily (no instruction reading required) and is so compact and easy to travel around with in a backpack or big purse! You can use the tripod alone, the tripod on the fully or partially extended stick, the stick alone, the stick underwater, the stick with or without the remote, the stick and/or tripod with GoPro or smart phone, the tripod AS a stick etc!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the different ways you can use this kit! VERY well thought out!EASY - This set up could not be easier to use. The instruction page is clean and clear and makes perfect sense, but this thing is so intuitive that you really don't need it which is something I LOVE because I hate reading instructions!EFFECTIVE - The most important feature is of course that it works and works very, VERY well! You don't have to download any external apps or anything like that. It is literally ready to use straight out of the box which is fabulous!There are only a few things that I don't like or think could be better about this device:First is that it is strongly catered toward those who have android devices. If you have an iPhone like me (iPhone 8), you're out of luck with regard to the wireless zooming. BOO! Only Android users can take advantage of using the plus and minus buttons on the remote to zoom in and out. Those buttons with an iPhone simply act as additional shutter buttons. That's a bummer, but certainly not a deal breaker for me.Second, the box it came in shows a bunch of people's photos taken using selfie sticks, but clearly the selfie sticks being used in the photos is NOT what you see packaged. I get that they're just trying to show you what kinds of cool shots are possible with their product (and I truly believe that they are) but I also have a problem with that kind of advertising. If it isn't your product, you shouldn't use it on the box.That being said, this thing is seriously awesome and I'm really glad I have it for my travels now! I tried it with my generic go pro in it's waterproof camera housing in Hawaii during our dive in a school of sharks and was able to get some amazing pictures and video!! I think this thing is definitely worth the money and then some for adventurers like me. Hope this helps!

When my family and I go on vacation, or even just daytrips, no one would ever know I was there with them. Why? Because I am always the one "behind" the camera. On that rare occasion, someone in my family will stop texting, or snap-chatting, or whatever, and "shoot 1 picture" of me. I usually don't like these pictures because they are staged (I enjoy candid, spontaneous shots).From all my griping over the years they decided it was time for Dad/Hubby to "get in the picture". For my birthday they bought me the Premium HD Selfie Stick and Tripod 3-in-1. It arrived on my birthday.The 3-in-1 is light-weight and portable, comes with a blue-tooth remote, as well as an additional plastic mount for when you want to take shots in the water with your GoPro. That's on next year's birthday list. I love the 3-way functionality. I can you use it at arm's length by attaching my phone to the tripod base; or attach my phone to the mount and then the stick and extend it away from my body for those group shots; or connect the stick and tripod to use as a stationary base to shoot larger view and catch ALL the action.While the selfie stick is all LifeStyle Designs claims it to be, what I like most is the customer service I have received. My family purchased another LifeStyle Designs product for my birthday as well - the Grip Stick. I couldn't get my phone into the bracket properly to take a "good" shot. This had NOTHING to with the product. It was a problem between the "seat and the keyboard" as they say. I did not notice the other screw hole in the mount to change the position of my phone. Parker was very patient with me and my lack of selfie-stick skills.I had a difficult time with the blue-tooth remotes from both products. I own a Sony Xperia z1s and a Samsung Galaxy S7 Active. Although I was able to sync up one remote to each smartphone, the remotes would shoot only videos, no matter which buttons I pressed on the remotes. After emailing Parker again, he shipped me a brand new remote, from another manufacturer. That is TRUE customer service.I give both this product and LifeStyles Designs itself 5-STARS.The only improvement I would make is stronger materials (not that these are not strong). However, with even stronger materials, the stick itself could become more compact.Thank your Parker and LifeStyles Designs, now I can be part of the action.God's Hands. God's Plans.Genesius

The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because the tripod is good. Everything else is terrible. The Bluetooth remote never works. The piece that holds the phone on the selfie stick doesn't twist and bend enough to actually take a selfie. You have to stand in the most awkward position to get a shot of yourself and since the remote doesn't work, the whole thing is useless. Pretty disappointed.UPDATE: This company has a wonderful customer service team. I called them about the broken Bluetooth remote & they sent me a brand new tripod and remote within a few days. Flash forward a few weeks to today & I realized I was missing the screw that holds the camera holding attachment to the selfie stick while it's attached to the tripod. I emailed them and got a response within a few hours. They are shipping me replacement parts so that I get them before I leave for my vacation in 6 days. Wish there hadn't been missing/broken pieces from the start, but I am very appreciative of their customer service values.

With all the cheap selfie sticks out there, I was looking for a longer and better quality product. When I found this one that could also become a lightweight tripod, I was sold.This product did not disappoint. It’s well made and easy to use. The Bluetooth remote was easy to pair with my phone and worked like a charm. It also came with a nice pouch to keep it in.I also really like the little clip on the handle to store the remote.I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to all.

This is the 3rd version of a selfie stick/tripod that I have now bought, and I can say that this is the best by far. I use the tripod for work so it is used quite regularly. It is built to a much better standard than the previous two.It works well and is easy to use. The little bag really helps to keep everything together which is vital when working under time constraints.I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend the product.
