Used for a Shift Knob
Shift knobs tend to run in the $30+ range, and I figured a DIY cue ball knob would be very cool. $6 later I had this in my hands and with the appropriate application of various drill bits, a hole drilled into the ball that would fit my shift lever. My lever did not require threads so I cannot attest to the strength of the inner construction of the ball (though the drilling did reduce it to a fine, talcum-powdery like substance). After a few weeks of use as a shift knob, I can tell you that the ball feels great in the hand, has a nice weight and works great!As far as being used for its intended purpose however, I have no clue how it performs.

Great For Home Billiard Table!
We have a billiard table in the rec room of our home. Our previous cue ball was carted off by one of our grandchildren and has never turned up. I really didn't want to spend very much on a new cue ball and for our needs this is perfect - and very affordable! As far as I can tell the roll is true indicating even weight. But, then, we don't hold billiard championships, even though, from the photos, you can see, after about six months, the ball has seen considerable use.Recommended!

Cue ball
This ball is advertized as white. One review stated it is very white. The ball I received is not white BUT somewhat yellowish. Will look futher for a WHITE ball

Meets specs, plays well with others.
This cue ball is superb! It is very uniformly white with no mottling of colour. The cue ball is the same size as the rest of my set and is within specs for weight (mine weighs 5.9 oz according to my Amazon Basics Food and Kitchen Scale). Gameplay is as expected, the ball rolls straight, clacks against the others with the same sound.

Great as a shifter ball
Didn't use it for its intended purpose but I drilled and tapped it to use a shifter ball in my Toyota Tundra . Works fantastic . I get compliments on it all the time . High quality product !
