Prounol 100% Pure Treadmill Silicone Oil - 500ml Bottle

Bought this Prounol 100% Pure Treadmill Silicone Oil as part of my "get ready for the half marathon" plan (because clearly, I need a lot of motivation). Let me tell you, this stuff is magic! My treadmill is running smoother than my attempts at running. It's like I gave it a spa day—now it’s gliding like it’s on vacation.The only tiny suggestion I have is that I wish they included a bigger pipe. I mean, I’ve got a lot of treadmill to keep happy, and a little extra silicone goes a long way. But honestly, that's just a minor thing. The oil works wonders, and my treadmill is so happy, it might start running a marathon itself!Highly recommend this for anyone who wants their treadmill to last longer and run smoother than their marathon training.

It's worth the buy

The silicone itself is of quite good quality, although it is not possible to objectively evaluate this. I find the volume of packaging to be optimal - it is not too large and fits into a reasonable price, but at the same time it should be enough for a fairly long time. The presence of a spray, in my opinion, is redundant, since the main work on the uniform distribution of lubricant over the sliding surface is performed by the movement of the track itself, if silicone is more or less evenly applied across the movement. This is easy to do with the included long plastic pipette. The main disadvantage is associated with this pipette. After use, a significant amount of silicone remains on the inside and outside of the pipette, which tends to stain everything around. A penny cap could solve this problem.

I used to use a proprietary plumbing lubricant, but the manufacturer stopped making it in favour of a light aerosol which is much too runny for my purposes - specifically, lubricating the skeg control cable in a sea kayak - where I want the lubricant to stay mostly in place. I took a chance this buying this, but it has worked out perfectly. Not just a treadmill oil!

Does the stuff, the applicator makes it much easier to get under the belt than the puny bottle that came with my treadmill. Only reason it's not 5* is because of poor packaging, and I saw a review that showed it's less than 500ml, which I suspect is correct as the bottle looks slightly smaller than expected, but still enough to last you until Armageddon.
