Amazingly Insightful
I found the book, the PUB formula, and the stories to be of utmost value and have asked some of my team members to read and apply. The reason I only rated it four stars is because IMO (and ironically) I think the book was probably about 100 pages too long. I’m not upset about it and was happy to invest the time but like many other business books I’m not sure the added pages significantly enhanced the thesis. Great resource thanks again Erin!

What are you doing differently?
If you're in sales then you ask your customers to change all the time. Most of the time, those changes add value. It's shocking to me how within sales though, most "sales people" don't want to change. You hear the same nonsense and one of the worst reasons to continue to do something: "Well, this is how we've always done it." If you want to challenge yourself to be better and be different, grab this book. Change is uncomfortable, but if you can find comfort in uncomfortable settings, success will follow.I have owned the book for less than a week. I have already finished it and began to apply it. I find myself spending more time on a select few and sending more meaningful messages. I'm going to the same sites but I am now actually listening to what I'm seeing and diving deeper.-Tim (this is my wifes account, I am not disciplined enough to have my own Amazon acct) :)

A powerful tool for a complete business shift!
I love the selfless selling - coming from a place of service and taking initiative to learn who they are to springboard conversation instead of asking questions as if it were a dating app or job InterviewThat way you can save a handful of questions for things that you wouldn’t otherwise have known through your own researchLike the questions that ask them what they’re passionate about or why they do what they do and the motives that drive themBecause that’s the rootThats where problems lie and needs areIf you are at all using social media, email or other online/digital platforms to sell or market your products- you need this book because it changes the game!

Great read! Entertaining and useful
Erin did a great job building the context in this one. Seeing her journey from overconfident sales person walking the tightrope with one big client to essentially starting over and building the business from scratch with the model she outlines in the book was riveting. What I loved most about it is that Erin really knows the life of a sales person. Being a coach and content creator, the strategies in here helped me see sales in a totally different light. I was I guess you could say allergic to selling in the past because it always felt manipulative. This book helped me turn the mindset around.Highly recommended for anyone who is in sales or has to do any kind of outreach or outbound marketing!

"I" Opening
Illuminating, insightful, inspiring. Erin Gargan's "Digital Persuasion" has opened my eyes to better online communication. The book is aimed at sales and marketing in business. The tips though can translate to activism, volunteerism, or community outreach.Erin's enthusiasm and clarity jump off the page. Her real life persona matches the books. Her chapters and advise are relevant and relate-able. I am looking forward to finishing the book and applying additional principles in my digital communications. Thanks International Building Show for inviting Erin to speak. She alone, was well worth the investment.

Practical, easy-to-follow advice
A straight-forward, no nonsense book. Not only does Erin give great advice that anyone can use, she explains why and how to do it, even if you aren't in sales.

Practical advice I wish more would take
I love Erin King's book. First, I loved it as an author and speaker who does a lot of email marketing. I learned so many techniques that I was able to apply right away (and I'm already seeing more people engaging with my content online). Also, as someone on the receiving end of so much crap on LinkedIn and in my inbox (who isn't), I wish more people would read this book to learn about the cost of self-centred, spammy outreach and also about how easy it is to do something SO MUCH BETTER! I've already recommended it to everyone who sends me a LinkedIn request and then propositions me 30 seconds later!

think differently, act differently
Deep down I knew the way we’ve all been told message people was not for me so I love this book for agreeing with me. Here the author gives you the simple process for crafting your own (good feeling in your gut type of messages) for effective relationship building.
