8-DVD Solar Powered Prayer Wheel

I purchased this prayer wheel (along with this one  Chenrezi Tibet Tech 1-DVD Solar-Powered Prayer Wheel - 14,400,000,000 Om Mani Padme Hum Prayers on One DVD - Chenrezi brings happiness and eliminates suffering ) in September 2015, and the wheels continue to spin on. I purposefully waited a year to pass before writing a review to thoroughly observe the effect of these prayer wheels have over time. The highlights are as follows:* When spinning, the prayer wheels serve as a great reminder to continue one's spiritual practices* The thought of having billions upon billions of mantras emitting from these wheels (daily) offers it's own sense of peace and calm* Harmonizes the environment* Brings an element of mindfulness and presence when observing the wheels spin (the faux diamond on the top makes for a nice lighting effect in the sun too)The top label on the discs is coming apart a bit, but it's no big deal. I like the intention behind these products--there's something pure about the prayer wheels. I've grown so accustomed to them being in the environment, I can't remember what it was like without them. One fun practice, as the sun rises, sometimes the wheels start off in a counter-clockwise direction, I stop them, give them a gentle spin to help them along in a clockwise direction. There is a comfort knowing that when these wheels are spinning away, lots of positive prayers/mantras are going forth to bring benefit, and that alone is worth the purchase.

Tibet Tech 8-DVD Solar Powered Prayer Wheel  I bought both the solar-powered prayer wheel and the more "traditional" hand held prayer wheel. I think that each person will have a different experience, so mine may be different from yours. I had bought a prayer wheel from another vendor and used it on occasion, but didn't "feel" anything--I thought it was me. I then bought the hand-held prayer wheel from Tibet Tech and, expecting to have the same experience, I gave the wheel it's first turn--WOW! I felt some kind of...power...like the force of the mantras? I have never experienced anything like that. I thought that this must have just been my imagination, but every time I use it I experience the same thing. I went back to my original prayer wheel, and thought (trying to be scientific about the whole thing) that I would now have a similar experience, but did not--I felt nothing. So I do not want to be parted from my prayer wheel (attachment) and I believe I have now experienced what "a blessing" is.I then bought this solar powered prayer wheel, thinking that while I wasn't actively turning one I could have the sun do it, but I haven't had the same experience with it. It needs a lot of light--I live in Florida and thought that the light coming through my white drapes would be sufficient, but it isn't. I either have to draw (open) the drapes, or else turn on a light at night. It makes a slight sound as it turns, but it's a friendly sound and I use that as a reminder that the wheel is turning and to send out the mantras to all realms. The product works fine, just as advertised, and the instructions are so very clear and easy to follow--extremely rare nowadays!

I was a bit hesitant, it seemed a bit high tech for a prayer wheel. But I am a convert. It is beautiful and the utube video is right-it brings attention easily to remembering our practices. Ist rate- great quality works perfect Thank you

I do like it but wish it was made a bit sturdier. The solar mechanism seems rather weak - requiring quite a bit of light to operate. It often starts off going in the wrong direction which is explained in the instructions but is still a negative for the product as one must make sure to check it at least once a day. Also, the disk merely sits on top of the turntable. I believe it would work better if the crystal finial connected in some way (magnetic force perhaps) to the center spindle. The concept is so wonderful that I am giving it 4 stars but the unit itself, I think, could use improvement.

I got this solar powered prayer wheel after many empowering months with the handheld version and I find it to be unbelievably powerful! One can really feel the effects instantly and just walking around my home feels blissful and lively. I am truly grateful for Tibet Tech and their astounding prayer wheels.Om Mani Peme Hung!

The prayer wheel came promptly and directions for setup was very clear. The prayer wheel sits in our office and gives out a beautiful and peaceful energy. Thank you for making this making this available to the public.

Love this item - it sits in my patio area and spins slowly by the sun's energy. At night (and inclement weather), I bring it in the house and sit it under a lamp. By the way, it came with the wrong instructions for assembly - I went on line to Tibet-Tech and printed out the correct assembly instructions. If you are interested in this item, don't be discouraged by this minor oversight.
