I have had this basket for about a week now, and I use it to hold four dry erase pens on my metal dry erase board. The magnets on the basket are strong enough to stay in place provided I don't touch it. When I reach into the basket to pull out a pen, the basket falls off the board about 50% of the time. It's difficult to say if the issue is related to the type of board I am using, but I have other magnets that stick to the board without a problem. If you purchase this basket, install it in an area where it won't get bumped, and use caution when removing items from the basket. I would also be concerned with adding a lot of weight in the basket.

I've had this for a little over 3 weeks now. I take vitamins and supplements multiple times a day and keep track of when I take them on a spreadsheet. I got this to put on the side of my fridge because I kept misplacing pens or leaving them on the counter and the clutter was bothering me. I only keep 4-5 pens in this at any time, but it hasn't budged! I've had zero issues with it sliding down or falling off. It's perfect for what I needed!

It lists as having “extra strong magnets”, but the four magnets seem to just barely are strong enough to hold the item to the side of the refrigerator. I am not going to place too many items in it. But it does hold up for now. It is nice looking and lightweight. We will see.

These are quite small, of course. I've given one to my grandson who wants to put small tools in it. At my place, they are used for tiny wee screw drivers, box cutters, ball points. Little things I just want to drop some place convenient where they won't get swept up. Like a penny. Yeah, for real. I have larger ones on order that I think I will like more, however. Hence the 4-star rating. They are good for their small size.

Purchased to hold pens and pencils on a metal pegboard in my workshop. The container has three magnets, and they do hold the bin in place even with a full load. The main issue I have had is that the magnets do not "grip" the metal so the unit slides down the pegboard and eventually comes loose. I put two small hooks under the container to stop this but it's not perfect. Would be nice to see rubber grabbers on the magnets or something to keep the bin in place. Except for this one issue, very happy with the bin and think it'll provide good service.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  So I just wanted to use this to store my coffee and ice scoopers on the side of my fridge. Unfortunately, the two top magnets came off immediately so I had to hot glue them on, and it slides down fridge. The scoopers I have in it weigh practically nothing so it’s not too heavy for it. I’m just using it on the counter top still against the fridge. At least now I don’t have to worry about it every tipping over, but I still cannot use it as intended. Keeping it anyway because it’s providing the storage I need.

I have a cheap art desk that doesn't have any pen holder slots. I was looking for small square pen holders and these were perfect for my art desk.

Lightweight, but sturdy pen/pencil holders. Price point is good, too. These aren’t the kind with a wide base/large diameter, however. These are the narrow, more standard sized holders. Bought these to hold pens at individual lab benches and they work great. I’m very happy with this purchase.

The magnets on this unit are not strong enough to hold anything that is heavy at all. I used this item for my safety glasses a marker a calculator and a utility knife. It was not strong enough at all every day I would come in to work I had to pick it up off the bottom of my locker.

Magnets are weak. Can’t even hold 12 markers without it sliding down the magnetic whiteboard, I’m going to add some more magnets.

Fit on my whiteboard perfectly! It does tend to fall if it’s weighed down too much so just don’t overfill it!
