Kashi, Layered Granola Bars, Dark Chocolate Coconut, Vegetarian, 6.7oz Box (6 Count)

I'll start by saying I love Kashi. I ordered these to try them out. I price checked with walmart.com and they were cheaper to buy here, so I said, "why not."I think they taste great. 5g protein, 4g of fiber out of the 21g carbs which isn't a ton of carbs for a granola bar, and only 4.5g of fat which has 160mg of ALA omega-3 (which is like having half a fish oil or flax seed oil pill). Not to mention, only 6g of sugar for real chocolate.... WINNER.I work 12 hr shifts and often go hours before I can go get something to eat, so these are great to have on hand for those moments and give me plenty of energy to tide me over at least another hour (I eat every couple hours so this is a big deal).If you don't like the taste of sea salt/chocolate, I wouldn't advise getting these. You can definitely taste the two together, hence the name... They literally taste like you would expect for chocolate/almost/sea salt.Overall, I found these to be total amazeballs and will definitely be buying them again. I have them on my subscribe and save as a matter of fact. PLUS they are a cheap 5th item for subscribe and save to get that 15% savings!!! BOOM.

These are so delicious. They are different from all the other bars I have had. I have never had chia before and I said that is what has got to be making the difference. I looked up chia and so they say it has no taste. But chia is loaded with good stuff for you and even suppose to help you with cholesterol. And really from the omega 3 to the manganese to the insulin aid it is an amazing seed. I have read that people that have added it to their diet can tell a huge unpleasant difference when they don't eat it. Probably what I am tasting is that I love almonds and chocolate but once again I have had other bars with the same that did not taste near as good as these, So at this price for 6 of them in a box, I am all in! And so is my seven year old son. He reminds me every morning to put one in his lunch box. I am always watching my weight and this is 140 calories with 5 grams of protein that fits perfect! SO I don't know how they did it but they taste so good and I made them my number 1 snack attack food! I hope this was helpful ! [email protected]

You will love these bars! They are soft and chewy with a thick layer of dark chocolate and a generous helping of coconut layered on top. This must be as close as Kashi gets to 'comfort food.' You will eat one...and then you will immediately want another one as they are just that good.At first, when I considered buying these bars I was a little bit skeptical of the positive reviews. I hadn't tried Kashi products but had seen them in the health food aisle at the grocery store. So, I associated the name Kashi with healthy type foods that taste a bit bland. However, these bars definitely put that stereotype to rest. I bought the six pack of them and my family loved them so much that we would pass them out as a dessert, on occasion. Since these bars have the dark chocolate and coconut I think that they work well as a special healthy treat for kids (and adults too!) The calorie and sugar content is not bad so you don't have to feel guilty in indulging in these bars as a snack once a day or as a dessert type treat. Give them a try...the dark chocolate and coconut will not let you down!

I agree with reviewers saying these are or can be a bit dry (also depends where you buy.) That said, the ingredients are nutritious and Kashi Almond-Flax bar has been my morning mainstay, alongside a great cup of French-pressed coffee. For years now! I find when buying these on Amazon (rather than purchased from a grocery store), these are freshest. In other words, not like hard bricks, but soft and chewy (as the box indicates.). There really isn't much flavor, as some say. But I eat flavorful food all day long, so I don't mind a diversion. There is something soothing eating one Kashi bar with my morning cup of coffee. And healthy :-) I hope Kashi continues to make the honey almond-flax version for MANY more years to come!

Generally speaking this is a good granola bar. The texture is nice and chewy, a little more moist than many bars out there, yet it also has crunch to it. There's a layer of fudge-like topping over the oats, and and that's topped with flaked coconut and nuts. The overall taste is sweet, chocolatey, slightly nutty with hints of coconut. The reported sugar content is relatively low at 7g per bar, but when you read the ingredient list it seems there's a lot of different sweet ingredients (syrup, cane juice, chocolate liquor, honey, to name just a few) These bars are just a bit too sweet for me to say I love them, but I enjoy one every once in a while when I crave something sweet and chocolatey.

Omg these bars are delicious!! There is a creamy, rich layer of icing-like fudge on the top and I was not expecting it to be so good!! The fudge layer is similar to the top layer of those cosmic brownie Debbie cakes! Heaven!!Although the packaging was a little bit squished, none of the bars were damaged. I ordered lots of prime pantry items that arrived in the same box and it just wasn’t packed too well... things were sliding all around with no bubble wrap support. It did not affect the quality of the product, But it could have had the box been more squished than what it was. Over all very satisfied with this purchase and will be purchasing these again very soon.

I found these snacks and I enjoyed them right away. However, I could no longer find them locally. I ordered from Amazon and they were delivered right away, fresh and great snacks. I have placed several in the vehicle for travel. I have sent several boxes to friends and they love them. Great snack for the money.

These are marketed as being more better than competing brands. I find them to be dry and not the best tasting.
