I cannot overstate the quality of this product. The finish is perfect and the overall appearance is as good as anything I have seen in a museum. Some have commented on the cost of this product, but chances are that if you're reading this, you have a work of art or a photo that has special meaning to you. You have likely already spent a comparable amount on framing and now you would like to light it so that all can enjoy it. You will not be disappointed in this product, and will find it to be well worth the money. Whereas a recesssed spotlight might be more attractive, at a greater cost, it cannot provide the tight lighting this fixture provides. We have it mounted on a 4-foot square painting and it lights it perfectly, with no stray light on the adjacent wall.There are a few cautions, however. Firstly, it comes with a conventional power brick and a dimmer that uses a proprietary connector. There is no good way to use the power brick and dimmer without having at least some of the cord be visible. Fortunately, it's a narrow cord that's inconspicuous. However, the power socket on the fixture itself is standard and it draws just 10 watts at 12 volts, so any low-voltage lighting power supply can be substituted in a pinch. If you want a fully hidden system, you'll need to spend a little more on it.Secondly, the LED lights are hard-wired in place and are not replacable. If you use the fixture at half brightness for a few hours a day, it should last you decades. If you want to leave it on at full brightness, full time, however, you may need to replace the entire fixture after only a couple of years. In that case, a non-LED solution would be a better option.Overall, this is an outstanding product at an acceptable price. It is well-packed and it comes with all the necessary hardware to attach it to any type of frame, or directly to the wall. I could not be happier with this light.

Poor packaging, product did not work.

This is a great product. Been using it above an original oil painting. very reliable and very low profile.

Nice broad spectrum light that makes out painting pop. The device itself looks neat and smart. There is a lot of bulk to handle behind the artwork, but it is workable.

Looks great, easy to install....but STOPPED WORKING at 3 MONTHS. And company won't do a return.
