Perfect for hanging stocking on the fireplace. You do have to balance them and I didn't try hanging once they were full, but they're perfect as decor and as they're flat, they don't ditract from a garland etc on the mantle piece.

They just don't stay in place, fine with an empty stocking, wouldn't risk putting anything in them with these.

Didn’t feel confident to leave a full stocking hanging all night. Bought last minute so no time to test its strength before the big day. Nice enough item though. Did the job.

Bought them for the Christmas stockings and they hold them perfectly and it looks like, once the stocking are full of presents, they will keep holding them as well.
