I've used it all, lizard skins, fizik, sram and cinelli cork, all sorts. This handlebar tape is my favorite balance of firm, soft and not sticky to the touch, but still grippy. Not just plain cork, has a little bit of that microfiber outer that makes it less of a sponge. Best way to describe it is a slightly less plastic feeling fizik bar tape. Highly recommend even if it was as expensive as lizard skin or something. Might pick up dirt easily if it's colored though. Keep that in mind.

This author has wrapped and replaced many rolls of handlebar tap. This is one of the better ones.It is strong enough to withstand a tight tension while wrapping around the handlebar. The adhesive sticks well and forms a good bond with the surface of the handlebar. The rolls are long enough to complete the installation with just a small remaining amount at the end.Although it has only been used on a few warm weather rides so far, the compliance is excellent and allows a stable firm grip. With or without gloves your hand will remain on this installed tape throughout the ride.A fine product at a reasonable price.

Great looking, complements the appearance of my bike.Easy to put on with just the right amount of stretch.Feels very comfortable and smooth finish bodes well for long term use without discoloration or staining.Dinged one star for lame bar plugs, way too small and made of brittle plastic. Luckily I had some sparesUpdated after a long challenging ride of fire roads and single track:Super comfortable and drew raves from everyone who checked out the bike. Would add half a star if I could.BUT lost both bar end plugs - ripped out by encounters with undergrowth on the single track sections. Replaced with lock-in plugs

It's a nice substitute for Lizard Skin if you like that feel but don't want to spend the money. I thought the backing was plenty sticky and it keeps you from being able to go back and redo your work. If you pull it up after you've already laid it down it can rip up some of the material on the top side. It doesn't stretch at all. The makes it hard to wrap the drops without using up too much tape. You also have to cut about two inches off in order to cover the backs of the hoods. It barely left enough tape to cover the entirety of my 42 cm handlebars. On a positive note it is light and comfortable so far. We will see how it stack up to Garden State Gran Fondo tomorrow.

I have been wrapping handlebars for 60 years. I have a NEW FAVORITE. This tape has everything. It will definitely hold. Be careful and be sure where you want to put it Has a great feel to it. And it responds very well as you grip and loosen.Love the color. Unusual.

I bought this tape to replace tape I only had on for a year that had started to peel. I really like it, the blue waves really matches the blue on my decals. It’s not the softest/squishy but it’s not bad. I thought it was fairly easy to stay on with the adhesive and it had just enough stretch to lay nicely. It’s not slippery, has just the right amount of grip. I put this on myself. I hope it lasts!

I have gone through many different brands of handlebar tape, Bontrager, Fizik, Lizard Skin, Zipp Service Course and I really liked the value of this tape over the others. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because of the application. I regret not taking pictures but the paper stuck to one of the adhesion strips making it difficult to finish the one side. I take to cut the paper strip stuck to the adhesion and wrap without adhesion for the last ~6". Even with that I think this is a great handlebar tape. I like the balance of grip and cushion. I compare it most to the Zipp service course. My first ride with this tape was an 80mi and a week later was 100mi. Around 1000mi now and still great tape!

This had good adhesion, was fairly straightforward to use, quality seems good, end result looks and feels good. Be sure to stretch the tape firmly and snugly as you wrap, only peeling off the adhesive backing as needed. We used this for the handle of a baby carriage that had become sticky from attic storage. One of the two rolls in the box was enough to cover the whole project. We will use the other roll for some garden equipment.

Very good product. Nicely textured and thick and strong. It is thinner near edges and thicker in center of tape. Seems more durable than the original handle bar tape.

I got the skull design but once wrapped it looks more like white blotches on black clothe. The product itself is great maybe don't get the skull one!

The skulls look great. They are not white but a grey carbon fibre look. Graffic layer is plasticky and not very pliable. So doesn't make a nice tight wrap and is a very slippery grip. If you just want aesthetics fine. For performance, garbage.

My road bike has some blue accents so this tape really goes well with it.Stretches nicely too. I recommend it!

I’m very pleased with this tape. Nice spongy thickness. Easy on the hands.
