It's a beautiful comb. When I received it, I did wonder if it was plastic. It is very lightweight and the tines of the comb are pretty flexy. I did the "sink," "burn," and "hot needle" tests. It passed all three. Smelled like burnt hair with the burn test, which makes sense since horns are basically the same stuff as our hair. As another pointed out, the beak is pretty pointy. I plan on sanding it down a bit so it doesn't poke my hand. Glad I chose this one to replace a wooden one I broke.

The design is beautiful and it works very well.

The comb is really pretty, just like the photos. The teeth are very smooth, so a good quality comb. Only caveat: the “beak” on the peacock is quite sharp, so you can’t really hold into the handle without poking your hand. For me, I have to hold it farther up to avoid the sharp beak. I mostly bought this comb for the beauty of it. If the handle were longer it would be more practical.

Finish it roughLike it was not finished.Feels like plastic . Hope it is not. But it’s not as nice as one I purchased from a store. Not even close.

A beautifully sculpted comb but too pretty for my 7 year old grand daughter. I’ll keep it for her until she’s older. I tried to use it on my hair but found the teeth closer together than I’m used to with long hair.

Correct à prix résonnable, pour moi les yeux de l'oiseau n'ont pas l'air d'être de très bonne qualité (recyclage ?), ce qui est dommage car sinon c'est un superbe peigne. 5 étoiles car très bon produit.Pour les potentiels acheteurs, prévoyez du temps pour la livraison.Je recommande.E L Lacey
