The scissors are very sharp and heavy duty compared to my other scissors/shears. Only problem was that the joint between the two pieces of the scissors got loose. I contacted the seller and was immediately sent another replacement although there was a small round screwdriver-like tool included in the package to tighten the joint that I hadn't noticed. Using the tool, the scissors were fixed good as new. Despite this, they still sent a replacement anyways. I never write reviews but I felt obligated because I had a great experience with the seller.

After having a TERRIBLE hair cut at a salon and spending over $60 and having to fix this said hair cut I decided to invest in a good set of scissors. I have always cut my son and husbands hair and I’m now going to start cutting my own and these have been great! I have extremely thick hair and the thinning shears helped with the weight a lot!

What a great deal. These scissors are fantastic. Excellent quality. I love them and although I am not a hairdresser, I am able to cut and style my hair the way I like. The thinning scissors are wonderful and easy to use. This comes with a comb and clip to help . Nice case as well. I am so glad I did not purchase a pair from the beauty supply store which was triple the cost and for only 1 scissor. Highly recommend.

I just recently started cutting my own hair. This is a great set! My 11 year old daughter loved my cut and asked me to cut her hair too! These worked great and her hair looks awesome.The thinning shears have transformed my wavy, thick, heavy hair to light, bouncy, curly hair. The case is handy and convenient for storing them between uses.

When performing a cut, the shears would push the hair around the blade quite a bit before completing the cut. This resulted in uneven and under/overangled trims, which was very frustrating. I tried adjusting tightness several times, but this still happened. Not sure if this was a sharpness issue or deformation, etc. Very odd.

Great price for what you need it for! Human hair (odd to say) is a lot easier to cut than pets so this works great for that. I am used to using grooming sets so this worked a little off for me, but after about 10 mins I had the rhythm right. There is a lot that goes into using scissors and shears so it takes a bit getting used to.

Scissors seem to be very sharp. Cuts synthetic wig hair easily without damaging the fiber and human hair with ease. I only wish they would explain (to those of us that don't know) what the round silver thing is, that's included with this set. Someone answered yes to a question regarding whether there was a cape included, there's was NOT a cape included with the set that I received, only shears, thinning shears, comb, 2 clips, round silver thingy & cleaning cloth with "leather" case.

I bought these scissors for $13.59 and they are absolutely worth it. It is very sharp and the texturizing shears are really handy for giving the layered look.It came nicely packaged with its own carrying case in a "ziplock-ed" bag and the two bonus duckbill clip is helpful with hair parting. Already it has saved me from costly salon trims( as that's usually all I get and still the charge is the same for a hair cut or a trim at $16.00 a pop) by purchasing these and doing my own trim/layering at home. If ever I need a different hair style, I will then go to a salon, but in the mean time, I will be enjoying these scissors doing my own hair trimming and my daughters as well. So glad I bought these.

Brilliant set! Very good quality scissors and thinning scissors. I am not professionally trained but I was looking for something to help keep on top of my 3 boys hair cuts (grows thick and fast!) and this does the job perfectly! Great product, in a lovely case with a comb and hair clips. I use them to trim mine and my 9 year old's unruly hair - the thinning scissors are fantastic and it means I don't have to drag him to the hairdressers every couple of months!!
