Kolpin UTV Overhead In-Cab Gun Rack

I love it when a product is reasonably priced AND delivers reasonable quality and functionality. It installed with ease in my 2013 Polaris Ranger 500. I did read another reviewers complaint that manual tension is needed to install so it doesn't get tight enough - BUT I just installed it as tight as I could at a slight angle, then tapped it into place and it is super tight and didn't budge one bit after several test drives on some bumpy trails. I also have no problem with the gun pockets - they are well padded and the velcro strap has a lot of overlap and holds snug. I use it to carry a smaller .410/.22 combo or a .30-.30 and as the picture shows I just tilted the gun vertical and it's also snug and didn't move... while laying the gun on it's side it is a loose fit and will move about... Also, I mounted both sides more towards the middle and it leaves plenty of head clearance. Overall it well constructed and serves the purpose I wanted it to.

Installed in minutes, It's very sturdy and holds my guns tightly. Wish I would have bought one years ago.

My only complaint, and it really is more of a warning, with this product is the fact that the position of the front gun carriage is tight for putting a gun in and taking it out. You have to be careful not to scrape or bump your gun stock on other components, such as a rear view mirror, when using it. The product though is a good value, and I recommend it. For the money they are charging you I can't complain. I am using it, and will continue to use it.

Not what I was hoping for

Very well made product, sturdy, and looks good, however, I could not make it fit my 2017 polaris ranger 900 xp, with the stock roof. The center bar in the roof is about 6 inches too short of being able to use it, the only viable attachment was to poke one end inside the gap between the roof and front bar. This made the product hang unacceptably low, and was a danger to anyone riding in the middle. If you had to cross any rough terrain at all, this product would work loose in my specific application. I feel this product would perform flawlessly on a roll cage that is more open, and has no bars in the middle, like my older ranger had. I would recommend this product to anyone except owners of newer polaris rangers.

Does NOT fit 2020 RANGER 1000 with Pro Fit cage. If it did it would have been awesome as it is super sturdy. I modified it to work and love having the rifle mounted out of the way, secure and dry.

Purchased this for our Polaris crew cab and we love it! Simple design easy to install and has worked great without taking up room. Highly recommend for anyone who hunts to keep your weapon secure and out of the way.

Great product priced right and prompt delivery!

Easy to install but needs a screw in the end as well or they rattle loose, other than that they work well.

They fit well but hard to get enough tension on them to stay pot. It ends were “U “ shape instead of “V” they would be better.

I bought these for my honda pioneer 1000-5 and they work great, out of the way supper easy to install or take out (I just leave mine in).

The space between the mounts on this product is only 1-1/4" leaving 8" of unused space on the end. This is also too tight for 2 guns - which is what it is advertised for.
