SCARPAMen's Crux Air Lightweight Hiking and Approach Shoes

This product fits true to size. I personally fit to the European size rather thank the US as I find it to be more consistent. These shoes have excellent traction on the decomposed Granite and loose rocks we hike on.

This shoe is super-light and fits perfectly after you've moved around in it for a few days. The one flaw is that the tongue on the right boot can migrate left across the top of your foot and end up mostly under your foot. It's an old flaw that Scarpa hasn't been able to fix. You can minimize it by running the laces through the middle of the tongue -- some tiny openings are provided to do that if you choose.

I've been having terrible pain in my ankle and foot arch for two years. Literally after wearing these shoes for over a month the problems have reminisced. My feet feel great and my physical active lifestyle is returning.

I quickly got a rip from my bike pedal in the lightweight outer fabric on the Crux Air. My old Scarpa Crux Canvas were never damaged - although I biked in them thousands of miles. Scarpa does have a great fit and good quality outer sole. The Air does not breath as well as the Canvas. Bring back the Canvas!

Great shoe for hiking on rocks. The bottom sticks to the rocks so there is no slipping especially when it’s a little wet. Very comfortable!

This is my second pair of this shoe. I am still using my first pair, and I wear them almost everyday.Great fit, good grip and they last a long time.

LOVE these shoes. Comfortable and great for hiking. The grip is superb. I wear them around the neighborhood when I have to walk the dog when it's icy out.
