Lucy Hammett Games Art Bingo

Pretty cute. It's weird that the names of the artists and not the titles of the pieces are written on the board and cards. There are also really small pictures with large blocks of color around the picture. Looks very homemade.

Well, this is fun. Wonderful game, fast shipping.

It is bingo, but not beautiful or educationally useful bingo. I didn't recognize more than a couple of paintings in the batch. This is not to say that the art was bad, but one of my goals in buying it was to help my daughter become familiar with treasured works of art. I don't know who made the painting selections, but my guess is that their choices were based on paying zero royalties (in other words, cheap). I sent it back.

Please make one with Impressionist Artist!

Our family loves this game. It may not be all well known paintings or artists but part of the beauty of this game is that my kids are exposed to a variety of art and not just the famous art they'll be seeing throughout the rest of their lives. Plus, whenever my kids see anything about these artists or their art anywhere they immediately recognize the artist from the game.
