Pentair 85014500 Tapered Basket with Handle Replacement Admiral Pool and Spa Skimmer

**Updated, 7/2022..........I never received a reply nor the handle from this seller. Poor customer service.** It fits perfectly. This skimmer basket was supposed to include the handle, it was not there. I'm glad I found this basket that fits, but the one without the handle is much less expensive. I'm hoping I can just get a credit instead of going through the hassle of returning and replacing.**It's been a week, no response from the seller. I emailed them again.U

FINALLY. Took me absolutely forever to find this replacement basket. The basket itself has no markings on it...so my old cracked on sat around for awhile while I figured this out. I tried typing in the dimensions with no avail. I ended up looking through a suppliers website and matching it to a picture and then finding it on Amazon. I wish the search options for these was a lot easier.Otherwise, great quality. I suspect my previous one cracked along the bottom from probably being atleast 10 years old and old owners putting a very heavy sharp rock in it to hold it down.

Exact replacement for my pool strainer. Last one lasted two years before plastic retaining clip broke and handle kept falling off.

Not as heavy as my original. I need to put a rock in it to stop it from floating up.

What I received was different from the picture on Amazon and available elsewhere for $8.95. The dimensions aren't up to date. Height: 6", Top Diameter: 8-3/8", Bottom Diameter: 5-5/8". Baskets floats in the skimmer so won't work for me. Normally use the Sta-rite U-3 but was looking for something sturdier and picture resembled my OEM basket.

It took me a long time to find this basket but this is the one that fits perfectly in my skimmer basket for my older pool. The previous one lasted 15 years, so we'll see how long this one lasts. I'll probably order a second one just in case.
