Best elastic laces I've tried and I've tried several.
I have bought three different brands of elastic laces for my various athletic shoes and these are by far the best. I love the rounded design that makes it easier to lace and allows a more comfortable feel because the laces can flex better through the eyelets. They are high quality and the spring locks are easily adjustable when you want tighter or looser fits. I use them on my new Reebok Nano 7 Crossfit shoes and they instantly made them much more comfortable as they run a little narrow. I also use them on my Nike running shoes and New Balance tennis shoes. I actually threw away a couple of other brand laces. The customer service is great. I lost an end cap and inquired of the seller on Amazon and got a response in a few hours and they shipped me a new set that day.I highly recommend the laces and the company as being above the rest in their niche.

Better than Lock Laces?
I was shopping for a another pair of Lock Laces when I saw these Racing Laces pop up in my search as an alternative product. I immediately liked the look of them and after reading some positive reviews I decided to give them a try. When I started switching out my older Lock Laces on my running shoes, I noticed a significant difference in the way the laces were held in place. The locking mechanism on my Lock Laces only had one spring to hold both laces in place. Racing Lace had an individual spring for each lace and I have found my new Racing Laces hold much better than my Lock Laces ever did. I am converted!I also like the lower profile look of the Racing Laces Locking mechanism. It does not sit up near as high as my Lock Laces. After running a few times now with these new laces I can truly say they are a superior product. Plus, they were half the price of my Racing Laces which made switching to this brand a no brainer.

Great!
I think tying shoes should be outlawed. Kidding, but with these, I don't ever have to stop & re-tie. Great at airport security checkpoints. Slip off, slip on! Made of quality materials, washes well & the ends can be removed and re-snapped back on. I chose to forego the spring locks and used one end cap to secure both laces together for a cleaner look (see pic), tho I would use the spring locks on running shoes. My only wish is for the plastics to be color-matched to the laces. Lace ends are reinforced for easy lacing. Thanks!

Lovely Colors, But Inferior Product
I've been running for a decade, and I have been using Locklaces for a couple years. When I cut the laces too short on one of my Brooks, I had difficulty finding a good reflective color to go with them so I decided to try these. I was really excited by all the positive reviews, and it seemed like a decent deal for a couple bucks less than Locklaces. However, I will happily pay more for Locklaces now.First thing to note, these have beautiful colors. Second, they are not as stretchy as Locklaces. This can actually be positive (laces that are over-stretchy can cause the shoe to come off or potential running injuries as the foot doesn't stay properly in place), but you need more lace before cutting them. These were very difficult to insert into my shoelace holes. The caps on the ends were too thick! It was a struggle to get them in. With one set I had to re-lace and when I backed the lace out, both caps come right off. A pair of scissors, a lighter, pliers, and 20 minutes later I had them laced in my shoes. I decided to put the lock on and give it a test tug before cutting and capping the ends. Both caps *slid*. This was a deal killer for me as it is very important for bungee laces to properly lock. So I went ahead and used the Locklace hardware I had left over (thank goodness I had pliers :) ). These are beautiful, but the hardware needs a lot of work before they are safe (and easy—depending on your shoe hole size) to use with running shoes.

Too thick for lace holes
These laces seem great until you try to fit them in a shoe. I haven't come across a single shoe that I can use these on. The tips broke before they ever made it in a shoe which unfortunately translates to them being a complete waste of money in my limited experience. They are expensive laces that are too thick for the vast majority (maybe all?) of shoes.

What happened to quality control?
We’ve bought these a number of times now for my son’s shoes and most recently, just over a month ago, It seems like they last for a shorter and shorter amount of time before breaking each time. This time was literally only a month since receiving them and putting them on his shoes. I am pretty disappointed and will not be buying them again for him.

Faster, stronger, better
My nine year old was struggling to get the laces tight on his hiking shoes which he wears all summer. My wife and I though he was being lazy about tying his laces, but when we tried to show him we a had tough time with them too - they were just slippery laces or something. His feet were hurting from poor support from loose shoes all day. Swapped them out with these racing laces and now his shoes are nice and snug every single time and he has way more energy from the support. Over 40 days of everyday wear now and no sign of fraying or failure. Great system.

Awesome customer service!
These laces work great. The customer service from Racing Laces is phenomenal. I lost the adjuster from a pair of these laces. I contacted them and they promptly sent several spare adjusters along with a replacement set of laces. That’s how you treat customers! Thanks
