The towels are GREAT quality! I'm going to order another set for my husband. I ordered the XL one and it's huge. Great size for the beach and travel friendly. The picture is on our King sized bed for reference

I suppose if your primary use for this is travel and you're desperate for a VERY thin towel to save as much space as possible then it will definitely serve that purpose. However, just be aware that it's going to be super thin. By way of comparison, it's basically the same thickness as a flannel bed sheet. If you've ever experienced the thickness of a flannel sheet or pillow case, this towel is almost exactly like that. Therefore, if you happen to be buying this microfiber towel thinking it will be anything like the ones first introduced about 10-15 years ago (for example, the Aquis towels) then you will be badly disappointed. These are nowhere near that thick or absorbent. Speaking of which, the product details current claim "EXTRA ABSORBENT - Absorbent fabric soaks up 5X its weight in water" but I can tell you from actual testing that is simply not true. I ran several tests weighing the towel dry and weighing it completely wet (dunked in water and put on the digital scale once it stopped dripping = maximum water holding capacity) and it never held more than 3x its weight in water. Sadly, this appears to be yet another made in China item making exaggerated product claims. However, you may have already suspected that by the other claim currently being made of "SUPERFAST DRYING - Dries nearly 10X faster than conventional cotton towel". I don't know about you but I can dry off with a cotton towel in 30 seconds and, obviously, this one does NOT allow you to dry off in 3 seconds. So, I knew the 10x faster was a bogus claim going in but the absorbency claim was impossible to know without testing. Therefore, I wanted to post this review for the benefit of other potential buyers. I purchased this microfiber travel towel set in the extra large size specifically for a recent trip to Ghana. The towels totally met my expectations. I was pleased with the soft suede-like feel of the microfiber. I had it on hand in case I needed it on the airplane for warmth, but it turned out that the airline blankets were adequate. The large towel was a perfect size for use after a shower. I also used it a lot to roll up hand-washed articles of clothing in to squeeze out excessive water. The towel and the clothing were both dry by morning in spite of the humidity. A previous reviewer mentioned the convenience of the hanging loop in the center of the towel. I agree. If it had to be hung at the end of the towel, it would have had to drape along the floor. We brought along the smaller towel with us each day on our outings to wipe the sweat of our face and neck. It also worked great as an extra lumbar support while traveling on the bumpy dirt roads. My husband also used it to hold an ice cube with while rubbing down an over-excited nerve in his back. That worked better than a regular wash cloth which gets wet with the melting ice cube. I highly recommend this product and would purchase it again.

I absolutely love this towel. It packs super light so it is ideal for traveling, and it is more absorbent than any other towel I have ever used. Be aware that it is very thin, so don't expect anything fluffy or thick like a cotton towel, but I would highly recommend this one for travel or as an everyday shower towel. I also love that I can wrap my hair in it and it dries a lot faster than usual.

I had bought one before and I used it for travel, now I got another pack because I take one to teh gym and stays in my gym bag and I use the large one for the beach and the medium one for travel. The small one is super handy for my baby to wipe pretty much anything... ( instead of wet wipes,,, i just wet the towel with my drinking water and wipe his face, hands,.. etc.. and wash it all the time... )

Large enough to wrap around a plus sized adult and use as a blanket at night lol. Love that they are different colors so each can be easily assigned to certain kids. Very light weight, especially if you don;t take both that comes in the bag. For really primitive camping the smaller towel is perfect for keeping weight down. Only washed them twice and have not had any issues so far with sewing coming unraveled.

I was not paid for this reveiew nor did I receive the item for free. Probably the best microfiber towel I've ever owned. I bought these kind of on a wimb while shopping for a backpacking trip. They had great reviews, sounded legit and were cost efficient. They are certainly worth the investment. I showered and dried off with this towel and it was probably 30% damp. And it dries pretty fast as well. I just had it hanging on a clotheline outside. Glad to have found another great product. It's small size and lightweight are perfect for backpacking. The Mrs. loved hers as well and commented on it. And it has another towel with it. I bought Med. I believe because I wanted to use the second as a wash cloth. It works perfectly.

I really did not like this product at all when I first bought it and wanted to return it. The first time I used it it took longer to dry than a normal towel.... overnight and still didn’t dry!! ended up being too lazy to send it back and using it again. Turns out you have to use it a couple of times and it will do its job properly after that! It takes some getting used to but I use the towel for my body and the little rag that came with it for my hair. I love these now! And take them to the gym!
