Polaris 9-100-9002 Pressure Relief Valve Replacement

The pressure relief valve did solve my low pressure (leakage) problem on my 280 system. Easy to replace.

I noticed my pool sweep was pretty lame. This piece had worn out as was venting most of the pressure. Got a new one and it solved the problem. Can't fault it as the old one was there for 20 years. Looks the same; so I presume I'm good for a while.

Just what was expected

I'd say don't do it, but if you own a polaris you already have, several times.

Just like another person's comments in feedback, my Polaris wasn't moving well, but I did see water flow coming out of the PRValve. So, I replaced the PRV, and the ol' Polaris is humming around like new. Highly recommend this repair/upgrade.

I replaced the bearing, the tires, backup valve, trailing hose and the black sweep cover and messed with the adjustments on the float ball without result. Then I noticed a bit of water current at the entrance of the fitting to the wall. There was a crack in the relief valve. I replaced it and the housing ( a must as mine broke trying to remove the hose) and now the sweeper works right again.

Don't know where all the complaints would come from about this product.It comes in original Polaris packaging, took about 30 seconds to install and works perfectly.I must admit that I was replacing this from a one-year-old assembly that was not made by Polaris.

Conforme á la description du produit et à mon attente. A redonné une seconde vie à mon POLARIS 280 (18 ans d'âge).

Y a plus qu'à le visser. Impeccable.

remplacement de la soupape du "polaris" aucun problème au montage s'adapte parfaitement, mais à l'utilisation même vissé à fond il y a une fuite par le filetage, j'ai du ajouter un joint pour supprimer la fuite
