I got a new, slightly larger phone and all of a sudden it didn't fit safely in any of my stroller caddy area. I came upon this cup holder expander and I was hoping that it would work. It does! Just two complaints. First, it's not stable in the cup holder. I had to wrap a cloth around the base and tape it in place so that it sits snuggly in my cup holder. This isn't a big deal, but it was a bit of a hassle, and I wish it came with some sort of gasket to make it fit snug and not rattle. Second complaint is that my fingers have to fit in a small slot between the handle and the expander. Unfortunately, this product has slightly sharp edges, which hurt my fingers. I wish the edges were smooth. Other than that, I am happy.

Cup holders on kids’ car seats were too small to accommodate their insulted thermos cups. I purchased an inexpensive set of plastic adapters to fit inside the existing cup holds — great concept. Problem: the adapters are very loose and when in a curve or stopping, the adapter with thermos in place would fly out on to the van floor. I drilled a hole in the bottom of car seat cup holder and bottom of the adapter (one for each child - decided to use the inside cup hold on each car seat) then I threaded a long zip-tie from bottom hole of cup holder up through the bottom hole in adapter. Pulled the zip tie tightly toward the bottom of the cup holder and trimmed off the zip tie very close. Now the cups are secure in the adapter and the cup holder. If not needed at some point, I will just cut the zip tie.

I bought some that were solid without the handle hole that worked better for me. These were ok but a little wobbly.

It fits my car's cupholder well enough, just not exactly what I was needing.

More wobbly than an intoxicated college freshman on platform pumps on the first Saturday in September, these cupholders are top heavy with no way to anchor them into the car cupholder. Also, too narrow and too sloped/ angled to hold a syandard issue Nalgene 32oz bottle.

These work great in my older car. The ones there wouldn't even fit modern tapered tumblers. Just be sure to measure your existing cupholders. Some people here have unjustly complained that they are wobbly, but that is because they are trying to use them with existing cupholders that are too big. A few observations, though. The material is hard plastic and is not flexible. There is a notch, but it doesn't expand much. This is good in general, because smaller cups will not slip through. They are not open vertically through the center - there is a bottom panel at the point where the holders taper down. Overall, they are what I expected and get the job done.

The plastic is very thin and weak. The cups (we tried several) flop around. Poor stability, lack of grip. Should have listened to the "frequently retured" comment.
