First, I'm VERY disappointed in the quality of softness and plushness of these towels, especially from the listing on Amazon; however, there were a number of red flags I should have acknowledgedThere is a great review article I found on the best bath towels in 2020, and it stated the softer towels will be 500+ GSM with the softest and most plush around 800+. It also said Turkish cotton proved much better than Egyptian cotton in blind choice testing.As for reviews, "Soft" is a relative term..."softest" to one person who has not experienced better things in life compared to someone else will have different comparisons. So I really can't go by peoples reviews that just say these are soft or the softest they've ever had. So let's focus on the website listing.Red Flags:First red flag should have been the price. Amazon has great deals and I have found hidden gems, but by comparison, a set of 4 of these cost me $87 and the best softest towels in the article I referenced were well over $100 for a set of 4.Second red flag, no where does the listing state the GSM. Searching questions, 3 or 4 people asked, what is the GSM, and no one was able to provide answers; even Chakir, the manufacturer would not respond and provide the GSM.Misleading:The website listing states "Luxury Spa and Hotel Quality", "Premium Turkish Cotton", "remarkably plush towels", "feel spa grandeur", "extremely..soft and fluffy". They do say 100% satisfaction and they are happy to hear our concerns, though I'm not sure why they didn't hear the concerned questions about GSM and respond...In my experience with other products, these are not "luxury", they are not "remarkably", they do not feel "grandeur", they are NOT "extremely" soft and fluffy by any means but rather somewhat soft and sort of fluffy for basic towels.Returned:These are "Amazon's Choice" and the #1 best selling towel, the listing looked good (except no GSM listed and no answers to people asking for the GSM), so I took a chance. Washed and dried these according to the instructions, cold water, no softner, etc. They are BARELY softer than a set of Better Homes & Garden towels I bought at Walmart 2.5 years ago.Having bought 5 sets of these that cost $87 for a set of 4, I returned them. Instead, I broke down and bought 6 sets of Brooklinen "Super-Plush" that were top recommended from the mentioned article, in a "move-in bundle" at $183 for a set of 4, and they proudly and specifically state 820 GSM...While Amazon has great deals, I guess sometimes you really do get what you pay for...Rating:So for features, I gave the towels 3 stars because they are average, even though they were listed as premium instead of basic...But I gave them 1 star overall because I feel mislead by their inaccurate hyped description on Amazon, when these are certainly no where near 800 GSM premium luxury towels.

Not colorfast. At first I liked them because they are so soft. After a few weeks the colors are changing in patches. Gray is becoming pink. None of my other towels are doing this but all of these are. I am not using any products that could have done this. I do not use bleach anywhere near my washing machine.

I've been shopping on Amazon since 2002. This is the worst product switch I've ever received. 1. I ordered navy blue. As seen in my photo, these are not navy blue. Even if they were navy blue I would still return them because...2. Compare the luxurious towels in their photo to the measurement I took of the towels I received. Five inches consists of two bath towels, two hand towels and two washcloths.My guess is that they purchased cheap - and I mean hard, scratchy, thin cheap - towels, grabbed a photo to justify the price and send crap like I got. Talk about false advertising! If you buy these, don't say you weren't warned.

I am very pleased with these towels. They are very soft, heavy and a quality towel. I’ve washed them at least 5 times and they are as good as new. I bought pink and I’d say the color is a medium salmon color not true pink but I haven’t been able to find a quality pink towel anywhere. Someone mentioned that they shed, but only in the dryer. They haven’t left a bit of material on me or anywhere else. I would highly recommend these towels.

I can’t say if they’re absorbent or not, I bought them to monogram and give as a gift. I will say when I first took them out of the box I was worried about the quality. At first glance they didn’t seem a thick as they appeared in the pictures. Once I folded them like they were folded in the pictures online, I feel like they are as nice as shown. I do feel like they will snag easily.

I ordered 4 sets of these! I have a hard time shopping online for any type of linens and towels because you can't touch them.... I will be buying more of these and will be giving as gifts as well! Very absorbent and super fluffy!!!

These were a great buy at $33 including shipping. but price recently went up and I won't be buying at $44 plus $9 shipping, total $49. They are beautiful colors, a nice weight and a nice mix of soft and semi-absorbent. I found that they were best in my guest bath, but that I prefer a less soft, more absorbent towel for my one use.

I bought these for my parents in law who came to visit. They really liked them and said that these are absorbent, fluffy, soft, but they do leave a bit of lint in your skin, even if you wash them before using them.
