Soft, Comfortable and VERY Helpful in Controlling Pain and Swelling!
25 years ago, I was running to catch a bus home after an extra curricular school activity. I missed the bus. And I missed it because I ran over a sewer grate and somehow, my foot managed to fit perfectly between 2 of the sewer grate bars and down I went. And it wasn't pretty OR pleasant! My right knee was stuck between the 2 bars and the rest of my leg/foot dangled below the grate into the sewer. My left leg landed bent, underneath me. I was actually sitting on it. My right knee was totally stuck. It wouldn't budge at all. It began to bruise and swell almost immediately, which of course, didn't help matters. Eventually, the fire department was called and had to use the jaws of life to cut the sewer bars and i was finally free. To this day, my right knee bothers me from time to time due to that incident. Cold weather, too much exercise or walking brings pain and discomfort and sometimes, swelling. For some time, I used an ACE bandage when my knee began to bother me but it never really helped much. I got used to dealing with the pain when a flareup occurred. Weeks ago, when I saw the Athletec bamboo charcoal knee compression sleeve in my Vine queue, I decided to give it a try. My husband had a lot of relief using the cooper socks on his feet so I figured i should give the bamboo charcoal compression knee sleeve a chance and see if it provided me with any relief. I had to wait for weeks after it arrived for my knee to flare up and sure enough, after a few days of walking up and down the Atlantic City boardwalk, my knee pain was back! The bamboo knee compression sleeve is VERY comfortable! The material is soft. I was outside in the sun/heat a lot while wearing it and it did not cause me to sweat nor did it cause my skin any itchiness. It fit perfectly when my knee experienced some swelling, when it wasn't swollen, the sleeve was a bit on the bigger side for me, however, a size below would have been too small for me. My knee pain/discomfort did experience relief when I wore the bamboo compression sleeve which was NICE! I still iced my knee when I returned to my room but not for long as I normally do during a flare up. I was able to walk up and down the AC boardwalk without needing to take a jitney or rickshaw ride and it was NICE to be able to walk up and down the boardwalk and enjoy the sun and cool breeze at nighttime! This compression sleeve is a nice, soft material. Its very flexible. I have sensitive skin and it caused me NO issues. (no rash, itchiness, etc ) It was a bit on the large size but as I stated, the size below mine would have easily been too small. This sleeve helped reduce my knee swelling and pain and because of that, my mini vacation was fun and nearly pain free! When I experience my next bout of knee pain/swelling, I will use this bamboo compression sleeve to help alleviate my pain and swelling. I absolutely recommend this product to those with any type of joint pain/injury!

Size up if you're on the sizing cutoff point.
I got the Large size knowing that my 18.5" measurement (around my thigh 4" above my kneecap) was at the break-off point for going the the next size. Still, I assumed it'd fit, just be tight. I was able to pull it on (and off), but during actual use (on a stationary bike) it was uncomfortably tight at the top and bottom bands when pulled up to where the lighter grey was over my knee. I pulled it down so it was more comfortable, and I felt like it was supportive and prevented injury. However, I would recommend sizing up if you're right on the line and don't know which size to get.Material: 43% Bamboo Charcoal Viscose, 32% polyamide fiber, 17% latex elastic.Care instructions: machine wash cold, gentle cycle, lay flat to dry.

I have the elbow set - now the knee set
The elbow compression pads are why I have the knee pads! I love how the compression with the elbow pads relieved my severe elbow pain (from carpal tunnel) and believed the knee pads would be equally as helpful with my arthritis in my knees. Some days just getting up from a sitting position makes me cringe, knowing I'm going to feel stabbing pains in my knees the entire time I am getting out of my chair. Weather often plays a part in just how bad the pain is, but needless to say, avoiding any pain is the goal. I put these knee pads on and yes, they help with the pain. It isn't completely gone, but it is greatly reduced and that means these were worth it for me!

Best for sore knees - does not replace a full brace
My knees are... cranky. Arthritis and old injuries have taken a toll (and years of being overweight, to be honest). So periodically, one or both knees ache and it hurts to walk and climb stairs. During these times, I will wear a brace and that does help, but braces are kind of big and hard to wear under jeans and a bit of overkill most of the time. These are somewhere between an ace bandage wrap (which I find hard to do) and a full brace (too much). These are sleeves that provide enough support and compression to provide relief without being bulky. For me, these are just what the doctor (should have) ordered.

Measure your leg before choosing the size
These are a great value for the money! I like how the material wraps high above and below the knee, so it covers a large area, unlike some others I have that are much shorter. Make sure to pay close attention to the size & measure your leg to be sure it’s tight enough. Some reviews said the sleeves didn’t stay in place on them... that could be because they ordered a larger size than they needed. They should be fairly snug on your leg to help with knee discomfort.I have joint pain fairly often, especially in my knees, and these types of wraps are essential to help relieve the pain. Highly recommended!

Comfortable but they don't stay in place well
These are lightweight compression sleeves for the knees, and they are comfortable. However, unlike many other sleeves, these do not have a rubberized top and bottom, so the sleeves slip during serious exercise. I'd suggest that their best use is for recovery while applying heat or ice as needed.Might also be okay for use after an injury when you're not exercising but merely walking or sitting around.

Good quality, comfortable compression
I had gotten these for my 55yo husband's deteriorating knees. After many years of abuse, operations, and physical labor, just shy of knee replacements, he is constantly wearing neoprene braces, constant icing, rolling on the Biofreeze, sometimes he just needs something that doesn't get in the way of his daily work, and this fits the bill. He says they're comfortable and do help, as much as can be realistically expected. They do not cut off his circulation and do not bother him in any way. He's very happy with them.
