I bought these place mats just for decoration. They aren't really anti-skid, since the entire back of the place mat is just fabric. I don't plan on putting plates on them or using them, as they are really thin. Some of the edges of the rhinestones are cut weirdly also. I probably could have made these for about the same price with just a regular place mat. But since I don't have much time, they were worth it to just order. Also - note they only come with two place mats, so if you have a four person table....you'll need to buy two.

I ordered the red place mats and got silver delivered. Silver wasn't even an option offered, just champagne, purple or red. They are well made, very pretty, and sparkly. These are for showy decor like Christmas so I'll keep them for the holidays. Wouldn't have wanted the red ones blinging on my kitchen table anyway.

The place mats are very pretty, but the strip crystals are not placed very straight. They are the exact purple color that I wanted, so I will not be returning them. Very smooth transaction and fast shipping.
