Expensive but does the job! Great product
Both my dogs recently suffered from a bad stomach bug. The youngest dog (7 years) had watery diarrhoea whilst the older (14 years) had gravy consistency diarrhoea. The older dog is in renal failure so was facing going on a drip the following day if I couldn't hydrate him overnight. With renal failure you cant give enough water to hydrate a dehydrated dog as the kidneys flush it out.Alongside diet change for the youngest and probiotics, antibiotics etc, I gave this Oralade. The oldest couldn't have the same help as the youngest due to his kidneys. The Oralade kept him off the drip and hydrated him well.Oralade is a newer version of the hydration fluids and suitable for use alongside Kidney failure which was a huge relief. Both dogs absolutely loved it and would have had it all day long if you had let them. I had to portion it as they literally cleaned the bowls each time. The had their bottles to get through throughout the day. Smells of chicken gravy and they got excited when I got the bottle out.I bought a lot of it as the illness lasted around 12 days but both stayed hydrated.Don't use this unless you have to, it is for dehydration and when bouts of illness.Only downside is that it is expensive.I have a few in the cupboard as I also keep some back for when these situations occur. Good to know also that I can use it on the older dog if we run in the problems later down the line. It can also be frozen.Would 100% buy again.

Saved my dogs life.
My eldest dog wasn’t eating (due to what turned out to be her gums being infected) this was the only thing she would swallow. It saved her life.

Dogs go crazy for the taste
I give this to my dogs if they have an upset tummy, they love the taste and seems to him them recover faster especially after throwing up but let their stomach settle down after vomit then use this to replenish them. Works nice as a topper for food on hot days to get extra hydration and I also put it into ice cube trays so that the dogs have a nice cool cube when they are too warm. Only downside is that it's a little pricey

Interesting product
This is basically a tasty water your pet will want to drink even when they're feeling queasy. It's quite helpful to prevent dehydration when there's been some vomiting. It can be diluted with water while retaining a lot of smell and taste so dogs will want a drink even when there isn't much of it in the water bowl. It can also be frozen to prevent waste as it only lasts a few days once open. This has been very useful with my elderly dog. The only downside is that I wish it was better value, for what it is.

Wasteful
Ok, from the product point of view, U found it useful. My cat had disappeared , finally 3 days later she turned up looking skinny and bedraggled. Vet not open, I tried getting her to eat & drink to keep her hydrated till morning. She wouldn't do either. So I had these drinks. This she did take, every hour we try to encourage her to lap some, it certainly helped, she perked up and seemed more alert. It's easy to use , feeding bottle, syringe or just in a bowl. It seemed gentle on her stomach and did not make her sick. The bad bit now. The bottles are too big. Once open , it dors not keep long & needs to be kept in the fridge. This makes value for money poor , this product would be much better in a 4 pack of 250ml bottles or even smaller. But 500mls is too big. Hopefully there is smaller bottle sizes but I couldn't find any.

Contains monosodium phosphate
I can't give a fair review on this product. Arrived yesterday, I gave my small dog 40mls. Which she loved and was asking for more. Although I didn't give her any more.Today I decided to read the ingredients and sadly I can't give her any more. The liquid contains phosphate which is bad for a dog with kidney disease. So I've had to pour 2 bottles down the sink.

Really handy
Great to have on hand, long expiration date which is great. My dog wasn’t well and she was getting a bit hot over the summer. Even just a splash of this in her water bowl gave her a bit of interest and made her drink.
