Super healthy and growing like a charm
I always worry about plants on amazon, but I decided to take a chance, and I am glad I did!Right out the gate, they were so healthy and intact, and are growing so much every day. The seem to love their spot along my deck, and already add so much to the space. Great product at a great price point.

missing a bulb
I ordered two packs of three bulbs. One pack had three small to medium size bulbs and the other only had two bulbs. The bulbs/plants do seem healthy.

Great plants!
I received the hostas on time and as described. The blue angel hosta and the guacamole hosta roots seemed alive, but the patriot hosta roots appeared dead and brittle. I soaked all of them and planted them. It has been a week or so and they are all growing and thriving, even the patriot hostas. Would definitely purchase again.

A stunner!
Sum and substance came witha good healthy bulb, and very good roots. I immediately planted, and it is filling out well after about 2 weeks. This will fill a giant portion of my small side yard shade garden! Not to infer that the little shade garden is not important. I love to go out and sit on a lounge chair and read there, and this hosta, sum and substance, will make the garden so much more brilliant I must say I love the light green color, and have paired it with a variety of hostas, coral bells, and Asiatic, and day lilies, I only started to buy hostas this year, and have always heard that "Sum and Substance" is the backbone of a really beautiful hosta planting.

I had no luck with this bare root hosta. Would Not even sprout.
This was not Easy to Grow for me. I had no luck getting this bare root to grow. Guess next time, garden nursery with a live plant will be better. I felt this was expensive for 1 bare root hosta. I gave it a try and lost . I should have known better, with only 2 reviews.

Strong Bare Root Hosta
Bought two. They arrived packed nicely and still damp in wood chips/ sawdust. Each has one strong eye (not 2/3 unfortunately) ready to sprout and strong roots. Look forward to seeing how them grow out.
