I AND LOVE AND YOUWet Cat Food - Salmon Chanted Evening Stew - Salmon Recipe, Grain Free, Filler Free, 3oz Pack of 24 Cans

We had to place our kitties on a wet food diet as their kibble was causing bloody diarrhea. Once we researched the negatives of how overly process dry kibble really is we made the switch to wet canned foods immediately. They love the flavors and I appreciate that the variety pack has fish in it. My cats love fish, but a high fish content diet can cause kidney issues in male cats. It has 1 fish and 2 poultry varieties. My 2 kittens share 1 can per feeding and we go through 4 cans every day. This food has meat as first ingredient and helped calm the inflammation they had in their digestive tracts. They are no longer in pain and hiding to poop under our desk. Thank goodness we have wood floors! Their poop doesn’t smell as rancid and they are using their boxes again. Actually, I don’t notice the smell anymore. I clean their litter 3-4x a day to keep it fresh. They only poop once a day now and I’m relieved there are companies out there that care about animals. I wish the price was more affordable. I cannot continue to fully keep my fur babies on this food, but I can supplement this with other brands of wet food.

When our elderly cat started developing issues with constipation, our vet recommended wet food as a way to increase her intake of water. After trying several other lower-cost options, we found this food. The pate is perfect, as they just licked the gravy off of any chunky food. Our elderly cat’s health has improved, and our other cat’s coat has become softer. I highly recommend this food.

My cat really loves this brand's products and it seems to help her be healthy in her senior years (with some mouth issues so hard food can be painful at times) with good digestion, appetite for more, and a soft, shiny coat. The products smell good enough for humans to eat. The only issue we have had, even when we were feeding cans just days to weeks after buying the box, is that sometimes she and our other young cat won't eat the salmon. It smells OK, but I worry why they wouldn't both (& the other cat is a street rescue and will eat anything) touch the salmon, more often than not. They devour the other 2 flavors in this set so we are at a quandary of what to do with purchasing the set again or not. Overall, the food is high-quality, the cans are the perfect size to split between 2 cats or 2 meal times, the value matches the higher quality of food, and our cats love how they taste.

I have one cat that has developed food sensitivity and this one made him not throw up after eating it. The other 4 also like it even though one is a notoriously picky eater.

UPDATE (8.20.2023) - I dropped a star because I noticed that the price is listed as $25.19 for Subscribe and Save but when I added it to mine, the price, AFTER the discount, came in at $27.99! How can they get away with that? That's not exactly bait and switch, but it sure is a switch! I wonder how many times that happened when I did NOT notice it?! The food is still as good as always, but the seller leaves a bit to be desired. Why not just list the REAL price?I have seven cats (at present) and have had them and others for years. I also do cat rescue--which partly explains the number of cats (LOL). I've tried almost every food out there and, over the years, I have educated myself about what goes into the foods we give our fur babies. I have to say, that education almost broke my heart. Some of the so-called ingredients are pretty awful. But of all the foods I've tried, this is possibly the one with the best ingredients overall. And I am including those with the hefty price tags that I'm sure most of you have heard of, seen or even tried. A lot, and I mean a LOT of them, use fillers and substandard ingredients to fill up the can with whatever it takes. This company actually does the opposite! They fill up their cans with, well...actual cat food. And of all my seven cats, those I now have and the ones who've come and gone, every single one of them likes or loves this food. Sure, there have been a few times when one or more wasn't crazy about a certain flavor or texture, but those are personal likes and dislikes. On the whole, this food has been consumed in its entirety more than any other food I have brought into my home (maybe with the exception of bits of cheddar cheese and homemade chicken, the latter usually stolen from the counter). What more can I say? It's pretty much unanimous around here--ILY RULES! I DO give them other types and brands of food, only for variety's sake (as well as my wallet's). Some are even higher priced. Though none is of better quality or ingredients. Not one! So, if that many cats agree, who's going to argue with them? I'm sure as heck not getting into it with them! (And, NO, I do not work for nor am I affiliated in any way with this brand or company.) I just like to tell it like it is. And THAT's how it is! Hope that helps someone. Have a great day! PS The only reason I gave it less stars for value was because, as we all know, you can buy human chicken or beef or whatever, for the same or less than what you pay for it for your cat(s), and THAT is a damned shame!

We mix this food in with some less expensive wet food to feed our 5 monsters. They all seem to love it, and that is honestly the main thing since they are notoriously picky. Whatever they'll eat, especially our 2 seniors, we'll buy again. Thanks!

So far (you know how cats are), all three are eating and enjoying these. I like that they have a lot of moisture to them, not only because it’s good for my cats but because the food plops out of the can easily, you don’t need a spoon to get it all out.
