Nearly Natural 5228 Mini Bougainvillea Topiary Beauty, 5-Feet,9" x 9" x 62.5" , Green

After reading many reviews, I addressed a few common complaints.1. The tree is, by design, top heavy. However , once you straighten out the branches top and bottom the tree becomes more stable.2. I put it in a container with rocks around the base to the top of the pot.3. Regarding fading ( as things tend to do with sun exposure) I sprayed both plants thoroughly with Scotchgaurd Sun and Water shield.This has worked with other faux plants thus far. My porch gets a good 8 hours of direct sun.The trees themselves are beautifully made and color is realistic.I would recommend them if you are aware of the above mentioned things for outdoor use.Update: trees are still looking amazing and sit up perfectly straight with rocks around the base.Great customer service as well.

Actually, I am surprised at how real these trees look. Once you splay out the branches, it comes to life. I will be putting these outside (not covered), hopefully they withstand the sun in the afternoon and the winds. I have to plant them in a larger pot and weigh it down with dirt. The only negative is that the base of the tree is wiggly within the pot. I’ll have to figure that out. Overall, I am very happy!

These are beautiful but you will have to reinforce with concrete. They are in Styrofoam and are top heavy.

I got two for the front of our house. They looked good for about 5 months, then faded fast. One never was in direct sunlight, while one had sunlight for only 2 hours in the mornings. After about 8 months, I was instructed by the "Boss" to get those things in the trash. They looked like they had been in the desert for years as faded as they were.I would suggest artificial light only on these if you want them to last any amount of time.

This plant was so beautiful and looked so real. I live in a hot, super sunny desert. I bought this in February 2022,( it’s still cold during these months) and my March the leaves had started to fade and change into this weird turquoise color. Cannot describe how absolutely disappointed I am. It’s beautiful but buyer beware do not put this in direct sunlight

I read all the good reviews so I was expecting a nice looking artificial tree and I got it! After a few minutes of 'fluffing', the tree looks great. It actually looks real, even from a few feet away. I put in in a 16x16 square planter (to go in my backyard), and I think this works perfectly for it. Not sure how it's going to hold up in the sun (partial), but we'll see. Good purchase.UPDATE 5/21/15: After less than a year after purchase, the bougainvillea topiaries are all faded from being outdoor in partial sunlight. They look very artificial and I am embarrassed to have them in my yard. I forgot to put on a sun protectant. I wouldn't recommend for outdoor use unless it is in full shade or you use a UV protectant.
