VHC Brands Burlap Natural Window Valance, Tan, 16x72

We are so pleased with this purchase. The burlap fabric and the texture is perfect. The valences are soft to touch and look so beautiful when put on the rod. They have just the right amount of light transparency so that you get some light through them but not too much. They are a beautiful creamy color, too. We had to iron them out of the package, which is, of course, expected, and it was very easy to iron out the creases. We highly recommend these. They are also the perfect length. Not too short and not too long.

Had a rustic look for my kitchen plan- these are great. With the larger curtain you can pair up the valance. They become softer over the years, sag and get limp.

I ordered these for out bedroom and bathroom. I love them. They look like burlap, but are very soft and easy to work with. They have rustic look which is what I wanted. The rod pocket is quite large. I wanted a ruffle at the top so we just stitched a seam down the middle and I had a thin rod pocket and a nice ruffle too! Only took a few minutes per curtain and they look really great! There is some minor variance in the size of these because of the nature of the fabric, but it is minor and with the fullness on the rod you cannot see the differences at all. These also ironed up very nicely when I ironed them before hanging.For those who say they curtains are not full enough, I can only say that you are ignorant of the way to measure for curtains. You need 1 1/2 to 2 times your window width to have good fullness. So if they were not full enough it is because you did not buy enough panels! I used about 2 times my window width and I am happy with the fullness.

We just renovated an old farm house and I was in search of a burlap color/texture window treatment. These fit that request exactly. However, I ended up not liking them as much as I expected to because the light shines through them even when the sun is not on that side of the house. The picture makes them look like the opacity is different than it is. They are also a tad bulkier or less taylored looking than I expected from the picture. It makes me wonder if the material has changed slightly from the time of the photo or if something solid was placed behind the material for the window photograph. I have to say though, that it could be the same as pictured but just hard to judge. It was possibly just my personal hopes/expectations that were off. Over all, they are nice and I will use the two I ordered but I will not be ordering more for my other windows as I had originally planned.

I purchased the valance to match my shower curtain. Goes great with it. Very pretty. Not very heavy, you can see thru it a little bit. Hangs like it looks on website. Material is great with a little design in it. Would recommend it.

I love love love these curtains! They are perfect in every way. Soft, well made , perfectly priced, beautiful burlap natural buttery tan color that just warms up a room. I was worried theywould be a grayish tan...nope these are that soft warm kinda golden tan. Choose these ! Nice product. Shipped fast too.

I was not sure what I was in for when I ordered burlap curtains for my son's room. I feared it was going to be scratchy "potato sack" cloth and was relieved to see that was not the case. The fabric is softer than burlap, 100% cotton but has the loose weave and color of burlap. The color is a nice almost caramel beige, reminds me of the color of a brown paper lunch bag. Hems all professionally sewn. My son wanted something very simple and I find this valance to be simple and masculine perfect for my teen son's bedroom! This also would be nice in a cabin or informal family room as well.
