Pricey but works!
This recoil starter worked for my Echo blower. The previous model I bought from Amazon said it would work for my model but did not. As for the price, I thought it was a bit pricey since I had bought a recoil started several years ago from Lowes Home Improvement for over half the price. Other than that it works as advertised. Works good at a good price
Bought this for my birthday echo hedge trimmer, it looks identical to the original, but the mounting holes were a little off, I drilled the holes a little bigger and it fit perfectly! Original cost $56 so I saved a lot of money with this, working great at a great price

Not what it says it is.
This was listed as a direct replacement part for a friends Echo blower. It wasn't. I had to completely redo the bolt hole pattern to install this part. Having 40 years machinist experience I was able to do that. Unless you have the experience and tools to do that I suggest that you spend the extra money and buy the actual Echo brand replacement part.

Wrong part number listed.
Have an old John Deere leaf blower and 17720042033 is the part number for the pull start. This part was too small and even with trying to customize the holes for the mounting bolts it wouldn't work. Ended up using the same part number and buying through a local small engine repair shop.
