i was iffy on buying this pull up bar. since i got it, i can swear by it... easy to set up and very sturdy. im 5'10, 210lbs, and this thing is perfect. added extra padding to avoid damaging the doorway frame. compared to the other pull up bars ive tried, this is by far the best one on the market.

Seriously great. I had originally bought a bar from amazon for 1/4th the price, also had great reviews and looked good, but the thing literally bent in half after two month (I am only 170ish lbs and I do only strict pull-ups, so no unreasonable demand was placed on the bar, it was simply made of inferior material). It had a fancy box but terrible quality.The Ikon bar in contrast came in a modest box, but the product is top notch. The bar itself was shipped in a very thin box which is due to its genius design. It has these two hooks that fold in and out and are spring supported. The metal itself feels like quality and I doubt it will bend (if it does I will update this). The bar looks very simple and pleasing to the eye. It stays put even when you are not hanging from it. Finally the most important thing, it was designed by someone who had a good grasp of basic physics and considered torque and application of force. The angles are just right, as I said it stays put without any force applied to it, but once you hang from it and there is a downward force, the bar will feel like it is part of the wall itself, you will feel very sturdy. It also requires ZERO assembly, its not that the last bar was hard to put together, no they usually take only a few minutes, but if you are buying one of these it's probably because you are renting and so are likely to move, taking the bar apart and putting it together is a pain and losing screws and parts is a real problem. This thing just comes down and folds away so moving it or storing it when it's not up is real easy.As I said, it cost 4 times more than the previous bar that I am now throwing out, but it seems to be 10 times better. So money well spent.

This is probably one of the best door-frame pull up bars you can get. It is a lump of iron and very, very sturdy. For reference to its durability, I weigh about 285 pounds, and I couldn't remotely bend this thing even if I swing on it. The design of it means the pull up bar itself actually extends past the door frame and thus will be the same height as whatever door frame you put it in. That's not to say that you can't use the lower stability bar for pull ups, because you certainly can as well. And for those of you that are like me and live in a house where every door is in a corner, this bar will probably still fit for you. I have mine set up in a corner door with only about 3.5 inches of wall between the door frame and the corner, and this thing fits just fine with a little room to spare.One "bad" thing I haven't seen mentioned in other reviews yet is the bar diameter is much bigger than every other pull up bar I've ever seen. This is "bad" in the sense that it requires a much, MUCH stronger grip, even with the padding it has, to do proper pull ups. A thicker bar translates to a far more difficult workout. So, for a beginner that struggles to do even a single pull up, this bar is going to make that struggle even worse. The upside is that if you stick with it, you'll be far stronger than you would have on a smaller bar. Similarly, if you're someone that's already really good at pull ups, this might be your answer to increasing the difficulty of your pull ups without having to risk injury or damage with belts, chains, and extra weight.For those that have noticed, the wide grips do not angle downwards like most other bars. So, if you're someone that has been cheating yourself on your wide pull ups with angled bars, this might be the bar needed to correct your heathen ways.

If you know how to tie your shoes, you can do it in 30 seconds or less.The product is well designed. The designer must be good at physics, at least the chapter of torque. mechanics. When hang it onto the door frame, be aware the flat cap ends on the bottom bar can be hammered into the center of the bar so that it can fit narrower door frame. It is a good design, so that the bar can be secured on door frames of different sizes. Very versatile. With the flat foam cap end at the bottom bar, not only does the system gets pinched secure on the door frame when large weight is applied on the top bar, it redistribute the large force as a cushion and protects my door frame, so my wife will not shout at me that I damage our home furniture again. You know what I mean. : )The entire design allows easy installation and take down on any normal size door frame with easy. If I dont want to show it when have guests coming to my house, I can take it off anytime.The top bar is covered in nice foam that easy and comfortable to hold on. The length is good, so you can practice grip of different widths. When I practice pull ups with different grips, it does not move a bit at all, very secure.Strongly recommended. If you love doing pull ups like I do, this is it. It may cost more than other bars, but it's worth it. Very sturdy product and well thought design. I can see myself on it for the next 40 years. ; )

狭小賃貸のため「ぶら下がり式」は邪魔すぎて、いっぽうで「突っ張り棒式」に耐荷重と内装への影響面で不安があったため、この商品を選びました。荷重がドア枠へ向かう水平方向に分散されるため、ドア枠上部カギ部分の下方向への負荷が少なく、またぶら下がることでドア枠上部カギがより深く噛んでいくため、落下のリスクがありません。水平棒のドア枠に当たる部分は、そのまま使うと黒い色素がドア枠に着いて汚れたため、フェルトを貼って対策しました。また私の場合は玄関ドアを使うため、別途ドアストッパーを購入し対策しました。ドア枠上部のカギ部分のゴムカバーが毎回取れます。大勢に影響ありませんが、-1しました。ぶら下がり式や鉄棒と違い、膝を畳む必要はありますが、自宅で気軽に懸垂出来るのは嬉しい限りです。買って良かったと思います。2018.10.27追記その後ほぼ毎日使用していますが安定しています。筋肉もついて来て、大満足です。良い買い物をしたと思います。何年もつか、楽しみです。2019.07.11追記ほぼ毎日使っていたところ、一部に故障が生じました。折り畳み機構のバネ部分のストッパー（金属の小さな棒）が曲がり、外側にも回転するようになってしまいました。懸垂動作には全く影響ありませんが、畳む際に予測しない方向に回るため気をつける必要が生じています。その他メインの溶接部分は全く問題ないので、このまま気をつけながら頑張って使ってみます。

ぶら下がり健康器具は場所をとるし、そのうち洗濯物干しになりそうだったので、通りすがりにぶら下がれるドアタイプを購入。まず、我が家ではドア枠と横の壁に隙間がある場所が少なく、取り付けられる場所に限りがありました。ドアが開く方には付けられないし、ずっとつけておくならドアは閉められません。その都度設置するならドアは閉められますが、片づけたら・・出しませんよね？幸い、息子用に買ったのですが、息子の部屋のドアに取り付けられました。耐久体重200キロらしいですが、我が家のドア枠の耐久は200キロないと思います。120キロの夫が反動をつけずに懸垂したらミシミシとドア枠から音が聞こえたので禁止しました。60キロの息子なら問題ありませんでした。参考になるかは取り付け先のドア枠にお尋ねください。追記購入から3か月経過、ドア枠の破損もなく、毎日120キロの夫、60キロの息子、17キロの息子が代わる代わる使用しています。今は懸垂が1回もできない子も多いようですが、3か月で何回もできるようになったそうです。耐久性、実用性を実感したので☆3から5に増やしました。

I really love this bar. It works on a similar principle as the other ones youll find on Amazon whereby you hang it on a door molding/frame and it distributes the force mainly against the sides of the door and a bit to the top. The difference here is that its a solid bar and not handles jutting out of a jungle of poles and pipes. I prefer this design. Yes its more expensive but it feels pretty sturdy and I've had the other cheaper kinds as well. Fits in my standard size door frame, and at full extension my knees hover half an inch over the ground - I am a 6'5", 205lb guy.

The IkonFitness Pull Up Bar is a heavy duty well constructed unit. It is rated for a load of 440 pounds. It can be easily attached and removed from the door frame. It is quite large and may not fit in narrow hallways with small doors. It can be used for enhanced Push Ups when used on the floor. A lot of other Pull Up Bars are very flimsy units with a load rating of just a little over 200 pounds. There is no substitute for high quality construction if you want a heavy duty unit that will stand up to continual use. This product is Highly Recommended.

Truly impressed by the pull-up bar. Assembled out of the box and ready to go. The fact I can slide it under my bed or hang in the wardrobe was the killer feature for me. Thank you for an amazing product.

完成品なので、すぐに使うことが出来ました。安定感があります。ぐらつきが全くありません。ドアフレームに引っかかる腕の部分が折り畳めるので省スペースで収納可能。今のところ大満足です。他の商品より少し値段が高いですが、長く使えると思います。

木造一軒家ですが、いくつかある扉のうち、つけられたのは1か所（片側に雑誌をかました状態ですが）。他のレビューに記載されている通り、確かに壁に近い扉には付きません。しかし、自分は”スライドドアがく”の字に付いている扉を両方開けて片方のドアの縁にバーを差し入れる事でなんとかハマるようにできました。（※前述の通り片方に雑誌を入れて高さのバランスをとって何とか利用可能に）説明の通り、壁に穴を開けたりはしないので、つけたり外したりが気楽にできています。ずっとつけてなくてもいいのと、思い立ったらセットできる気軽さと、収納時はハンガーの端にかけてる状態で普段邪魔にならないのがイイ感じ。本体の組み立ては壁を抑えるソケットを差し込むだけなので誰でもできると思います。予備のハンドルカバーがソケットの中に一組入ってますので取り出しておきましょう。耐久性ですが、当方180cm,100kgながら、ぶら下がっても大丈夫でした。（最初、ミシリとは言いましたが…）壁紙は少し削れました。なので、かませが外れない程度に何か薄い板のようなものを当てておくか、目立たない部屋のドアを使うのがいいと思います。ハンドルカバーのデザインも蛍光グリーンの筋が差し色になっていてかっこ良いと思います。説明書にくっついてきたWorkout Bookには扉の下部に置いて腹筋する方法も記載。

商品自体は凄く良いがこれは何も考えずに買ってしまった自分のミスなのですが家のかなり限られた場所にしか設置出来ないです。なぜかと言うとドアが壁ギリギリに設計されている所ばかりでそうでない所もヘリが1センチも無いシャープな作りかドア側で斜めになり設置出来ないです。買われる場合はもう一度家の作りを確認して見ることをオススメします（笑）

この手の商品は結構組み立てて使うものが多いと思うのですがこちらは組み立て無しです。作業はドアにあてがう部分のキャップを付けるくらいですかね。下の部分をあてがって上の部分を持つので位置が高くて足をあまり曲げずに済みます。裏側に引っ掛ける部分が細くて心配に思うかもしれませんが想像以上に頑丈で重い金属製です。本当に200kgまで耐えれるかは不明ですが体重プラス加重で100kgくらいなら余裕そうです。他社製品は似ている形状でも組み立てが必要だったり耐荷重が80kgまでだったりがほとんどなのでこの製品はかなり優秀でおすすめです。

今まで廊下に突っ張り棒タイプのもので懸垂していましたが、引っ越したら廊下が狭くなり使えなくなり、懸垂マシンを物色していたところにこれを発見し購入しました。何といっても、収納時に平たくなって場所をとらないこと。狭い自室にとってこれは最高です。ぶら下がるバーが高い位置にくること。膝を曲げずに懸垂できるのが良いと思いました。しかし、問題は使う自室のドアの幅が規定の７０ｃｍに達していなく、６４ｃｍしかありません。購入を悩みましたが、他に希望に沿った物が無くポチっと。もしかしたら使えずに返品かとドキドキで使ってみると、今のところしっかり使えております。ひっかけるドアの上部のヘリの部分も規定の２ｃｍに足りず、１ｃｍしかありませんが、なんとかひっかかっております。勢いつけたり揺らしたりしなければ大丈夫だと思います。ひっかけるゴムの部分は以外に硬く頑丈ですので、１ｃｍのドアのヘリでもがんばっております。ひっかけのアーム部分は、片側を定位置の直角で固定し、残ったほうは固定せずにフリーにしてドアのヘリにひっかけています。品物自体はかなり頑丈なもので安心感があります。ドアはきしむけど、こいつはきしまない。ちなみに私は身長１７５ｃｍ体重７０ｋｇです。床に置いての腕立て伏せにも使っています。なかなか良いです。箱に入っていた説明書にはドアの下部にかけて腹筋ができるとありましたが、これはどうやっても出来ませんでした。固定できません。よって星を一つ減らすかとも考えましたが、アマゾンのサイトには腹筋ができるとは説明されておらず、あくまで懸垂用の器具なので、見なかったこととして満点星としました。腹筋用には収納に便利な折りたたみ式の腹筋台を買います。

最近、この手の用品を買うのが怖いです。中華製の粗悪品が出回り、それを誤魔化す大量の日本語が変な★5のレビュー。本製品の類似品は、本製品よりも安くレビューの評価も高い。が、レビューが全て★5。案の定の変な日本語。もう人柱にはなりたくない！という思いで、批判もある本製品を購入しました。初期不良品もあるとの評価でしたが、問題ない製品が届きました。毎日活躍してくれています。初期不良は交換すればよい。粗悪品は...　交換してくれるのかな？変な日本語のレビューを通報できるシステムを導入して欲しいものです。

上半身を鍛えなければと思い購入を決意しました。ドアのところに簡単にハメ、スポンジ部分は優しく筋トレを続けやすくなるのではないかと思います2つ懸垂できる棒があるため様々なポーズで物を干すことができる素晴らしい棒です。真ん中にはタコ足で干すこともできるので、すごい良い商品だと思います。200㎏にも耐えることができるので、大きな布団も干すことができ、重いものだって行けると思います窓際で干されてる人もこれさえあれば必要なくなると思います是非おススメで切る商品だと思いました
