This thing is perfect! I used to have a cloth cover on my old suitcase, but the problem is you then cant see your actual luggage color. I love the clear. This cover proved it's worth ten fold the first time I used it. I was flying in a small plane so despite having carry on sized luggage I still had to check it. I have a plastic top suitcase so I worried about cracking and scratches. Good thing I bought this because upon retrieving my baggage from the carousel I noticed SO MANY BLACK SCRATCHES. I've attached a photo so you can see what one flight segment did. When I removed the plastic protective cover there was not a single scratch or dent on my actual luggage! In addition, there are no holes or tears in the plastic cover which means I can use it again. Update: I've used it on 4 more flight segments and it's held up! Buy it if you love your luggage!

OnIy problem....never thought to check which side the handle is on on the suitcase. This cover has the handle hole on the wrong side of the case. Not sure if seller sells reverse cases? Other than that, its very sturdy clear plastic, fits like a glove & Velcro at bottom is very secure.

Loved the clear cover and ordered 30 size because 28 was not offered. When I got the cover it fit my luggage, but the cover is made for a taller suitcase therefore the velcro did not connect ar the bottom, so I'm going have to return it and look for an alternative, unless the seller can supply me with a 28inch cover

I ordered the 26 in. My suitcase was 26 in from the top to the floor (including the wheels) and 24 in just including the body of the suitcase. The cover is a little baggy but overall fits good and seems to be good quality. The side handle opening is on the wrong side for my suitcase personally but I don't mind really as long as the top handles line up but if thats something you're concerned about I would check your suitcase, the opening on the cover is on the right side.

Thick, solid plastic to protect your suitcase. As no two suitcases are identical measure yours very carefully and compare with this products published measurements before buying. There will always be some redundancy or inadequacy. The cover is relatively stiff. Do not assume it will stretch if the suitcase is a bit too large. In my case it turned out an inch too short. Because of large Velcro flaps at the bottom it can be easily closed but the bottom inch is not completely covered. Of course, on a different suitcase it might be just perfect. Also keep in mind that the cover itself has some weight which takes away from the total allowed weight of your suitcase.

Amazing protector. I bought a brand new set of champagne colored suitcases and was afraid that my large one would get dirty when I checked it in. I saw a blogger online use one of these protectors and luckily found a similar one on amazon. It fit my suitcase perfectly. The Velcro is sturdy on the bottom so it stayed on very well. When I got my suitcase from the baggage claim, there were black marks all on the outside of this plastic protector but none of my suitcase. I used it for one international trip but checked it in on 4 different flights and it lasted the entire time with no issues. Highly recommend for the price.

I purchased this to protect my new luggage and it did just that. It did have one hole on it when it arrived at my destination, and I though that surely on the way back it would get bigger and my luggage would be all scratched up, but it was exactly the same. So the cover did what it was supposed to and I have no complaints.
