Full disclosure...I bought this to use the crossplate and screen in my Bodum French press traveller because I left it dirty too long with cream in it and can't get the screen clean. It fits! But I'm tempted now to get another one because this press would be great for afternoons at work and now I'll have to alternate. We'll see!

I bought the small, 12oz coffee maker. It makes just the right amount for my travel mug. It makes enough coffee for two medium-to-small cups. So I agree that this would not be most people's understanding of "2 cups" in the US.

Excellent filtering, no coffee grounds or particulates end up in the coffee. Better flavor than from a Bodum French Press . Only complaint- the filters are rough around it outer and center edges, can prick fingers and snag sponge when washing

Well made and functional French press. Perfect size for a quick brew up and fills my travel cup. Buy the larger size for two people.

The company I got this from provided quick service, shipping, and delivery. The price seemed fair enough. Unfortunately, the product itself was good for the first 3 weeks, and then I noticed the glass part had cracked during brewing and was slowly leaking out onto my counter. It evolved into a small hole in the bottom of the product also. I had to pitch it.
