Works Wonders; Saw Results Within A Week
I’ve been using this shampoo and conditioner every other day my for just over a month or so. My hair’s always fallen out or broken off easily if I become stressed; sudden sickness and health problems, worrying about them and the medication I’m taking were beginning to take a noticeable toll in my hair. It’s completely turned around thanks to this brand. I began to see increased shine and bounce after 2 washes the first week, no further thinning or breakage by 11-12 days and actual new hair growth by 3 weeks. My hair looks and feels better than it has in almost a year and is just getting better. The bottles are pretty small unfortunately so use sparingly, massage into roots and then work through hair to make the most of the product. While the shampoo lathers well it’s not the best at cleaning my hair and does seem to make it prone to tangles but that’s offset by the strength of the conditioner. It doesn’t take much of this product at all to message into my roots and saturate my hair but the stuff sticks around. It’s extremely moisturizing and takes a good minute to rinse out without leaving residue. The two things I’m not really fond would be the small bottle size and the scent of peppermint and eucalyptus mixed, both are strong enough alone and I let family smell, rest assured they didn’t seem to think it smelled bad at all. Ironically the smell doesn’t carryover like your average hair product. I can’t smell it by the time my hair dries so I’m glad I gave it a go. Honestly, if I’d tried it and the scent had stuck around I’d still have put up with it once I noticed the shine and bounce it provided. This product is awesome and has saved my hair. It’s the real deal.

Biotopic Keratin Conditioner Left My Hair Looking & Feeling Oily
I have fine, dry, thinning hair, so I was excited to try Biotopic's Hair-Growth Shampoo and Conditioner. I really like the Caffeine Shampoo so far; it smells nice (in a minty kind of way) and feels refreshing on my scalp. However, I was disappointed in the Keratin Conditioner; when I squeezed some into my palm and massaged it into my hair, it left a greasy-feeling residue on my hands. And when I attempted to rinse it out of my strands, I could feel that same oily residue clinging to my hair. Sure enough, when I let my locks air-dry (as I usually do), they ended up looking limp and greasy. The only positive is that this conditioner *did* tame my wispy flyaways...but it did so at the expense of weighing down ALL of my hair. While I'm tempted to give Biotopic's Keratin Conditioner 1 or 2 stars because it didn't work for my hair, I've rounded it up to 3 stars because I recognize it could work well on other hair types. I feel this conditioner would be best suited to men (or women) with short hair, because the oily/greasy effect is more pronounced in longer hair. The "Advanced Botanical Formula" contains many types of oils -- safflower seed oil, avocado oil, argon oil, eucalyptus oil, peppermint oil, and lemon peel oil -- which clearly contribute to the "greasy" feeling I experienced; however, these oils are effective at controlling unruly, frizzy, flyaway hair, so this conditioner could be a good choice for anyone looking to tame wild, wispy locks. Also, though my hair tends to be dry, my scalp is prone to oiliness when I don't use clean-rinsing hair products; so while the oils in this conditioner exacerbated that issue for me, they could actually be beneficial for someone who has dry hair AND a dry scalp. My review photos include a shot of the conditioner in the bottle; it has sort of a creamy beige color, and the scent makes me think of kitchen ingredients -- I'm assuming that's from the wheat protein and safflower seed/avocado oils. (Oddly, though both the shampoo and conditioner list peppermint and eucalyptus oils among their ingredients, I can only smell them in the shampoo.) The conditioner doesn't smell unpleasant, but I prefer the minty-fresh scent of Biotopic's shampoo. In summary, though this conditioner wasn't a good fit for me, I could see it being a better match for others (as noted above). I'm giving up on Biotopic's Keratin Conditioner after one use, but I'll stick with the Caffeine Shampoo and submit a review later, once I've used it long enough to determine whether/how well it promotes hair growth.

Great for bleach damaged blonde hair.
This conditioner works great for thin, sparse hair. It helps plump and dill the hair shaft and also promotes new growth by energizing the scalp. I like it for my bleach damaged hair as it really seems to help prevent breakage and strengthen my hair. My hair feels fuller and looks more volumized too. I like that this has keratin which is a must for bleach damage as well. It's also sulfate and paraben free and has biotin and antioxidants in it too. I love how shiny and smooth my hair looks without being weighed down and greasy looking. All in all I'm very happy with this conditioner and will buy it again in the future!

Made my Hair Unmanagable
I have had issues with my hair thinning lately and I wanted to give this a shot and see if it helped improve the thickness and durability of my hair. I also bleach it and it is extremely dry with split ends so it is in desperate need of help. Unfortunately, I'm not going to use this anymore because it left my hair feeling weighed down, dull and like I hadn't washed it out of my hair enough. I only used a little bit and made sure to thoroughly rinse it out so I think this conditioner just leaves residue behind. I've used products with keratin in them before and I know keratin tends to make each strand feel thicker but this was just something different, not in a good way. I had trouble brushing and detangling my hair and it felt all guncked up even after my hair had dried.
