Anchor Buddy Anchor Line

This is my second one of these. I use it to keep my boat brome beating against the side of my pier. I'm able to tie it off to the pier, push it off, throw out the anchor, and then pull myself back to the pier to get out. Once I'm out, the line pulls my boat back out. For comparison, I have a Sanger V210, which is a 21' wakeboarding boat. It is a heavy boat for its size. I used the first one in salt water for 3 years and did not have an issue with the hardware that came with it.One word of caution. DO NOT forget to pull the anchor in before going. I forgot to pull it in once, and it ruined the line. Stretched it out and it never bungeed back.

The elastic Anchor Buddy system is a great way to anchor small boats in areas with lots of water weeds or high tides. It is much better than the traditional 'boat trolley' system that uses expensive double lengths of rope running through a pulley to pull the boat on and off the beach, and which often tangles in water weeds or on knots in the rope.My only suggestion is to use a 10'-15' length of line in the stern of your boat that attaches to the Anchor Buddy (which is hooked to an anchor). This allows you to pull the boat up on the beach without fighting the surprisingly-strong pull of the elastic Anchor Buddy. Once you are out of the boat, you can pull the extra line into the boat and clip the Anchor Buddy directly to a cleat on the transom, then let the system pull the boat off the beach out past the tide line.

This is a must have for any boater. This allows you to keep the boat off shore while you are on the beach. You do need a long rope to bring the boat back to shore. I have used these for the past 10 years and will continue to replace them as they wear out. They last about 5 years for me, the bungie wears out and it becomes just a regular rope again. The bungie is the key to make this product work. You must have this product if you want to keep your boat off the sand and rocks of the beach. AAAA Product.

If youre all about adventure, and into island hopping, anchor buddy is a must have! Do yourself a favor and save your hull. Throw it over the stern, make a landing on the beach, unload all your coolers gear, and crew. Hold your bow line then watch your boat swiftly be pulled out beyond the low tide level! Youll never get beached again and forced to "survive" till the next hightide.

This is a great product for anchoring near a beach or lake bank. It allows you to pull your boat to shore when you want it. Or you can slack your shore line and leave it moored in deeper water. It is also good for rough water because it takes up the surge and will not pull your anchor loose.
