Faulty Holsters - Great Customer Service
Update as of April 8, 2015:I pushed the pin out of the retention button and sanded off some of the forward portion of what goes inside of the trigger guard. I didn't have to sand off a ton but enough to know that I was correct - their molding is/was off some. I put it back together and the holster works as designed. You can hear it click into place when the gun is put in now and the sanding didn't effect how well the gun is held in. It's a fix I should have thought of months ago but frankly I'm just happy to have this one working. I'll be ordering the molle attachment shortlyEnd update. This holster and the subsequent replacement holster didn't fit my PT92. Aside from the website listing both the bag and the holster itself stated that it would work with the PT92 AF but for whatever reason the retention device wouldn't latch as designed. The holster itself fit perfectly around the gun so it was obvious that the retention device was the problem. I sent the original back and received a replacement promptly but that one had the same issue. I could force the retention device to fit properly but how can you trust a holster that doesn't work as it is supposed to especially when, in order for it to work, you have to force something inside of the trigger guard? I can't trust my life to that.I checked the manufacturers website and watched countless videos to see if I was doing something wrong but all signs pointed to a manufacturing problem. The retention mechanism is supposed to audibly click into place unlike both of mine which didn't do anything except protrude outwards due to it being unable to get inside the trigger guard without force.I will say that Shofars for Sale was absolutely incredible with their customer service. Polite, professional and understanding. I returned the original and they refunded my shipping and when the replacement was also a dud they refunded my purchase completely. They asked for a detailed description of the problem to be included with my return, I happily obliged, so that they could give it to IMI. Shofars seems very interested in sorting this issue out so hopefully no one else experiences my dissatisfaction with this holster. I would happily make another purchase with them.

Needed modifications to work properly
I ordered this holster to fit my Taurus PT92 AF, as advertised. The firearm does fit the actual mold like a glove, and the holster, itself is light, yet durable. The material is a type of hard plastic, but every bit as durable as high end holsters made of similar material. My excitement turned to frustration, however, as soon as I attempted to actually secure my weapon in the holster. The locking mechanism failed to secure my weapon, unless I put an entirely unreasonable amount of force on the weapon. I'm a 6'0 200lb grown man, and I struggled to force my weapon into place. As other reviews have stated, the trigger guard bottoms out long before the locking mechanism clicks into place. Thankfully, this was a relatively easy fix. The mechanism is held in by a pin, easily pushed out by a punch, (or like I used, the end of a dinner fork) and comes out to expose the device. It took me several attempts to actually figure out where it was being blocked, and whittling away at the mechanism with my pocket knife. (I do not recommend doing this, as I nearly sliced my hand open twice. Use sand paper). I took a considerable amount of material off, in order to actually make it work, however, once the deed was done, the device worked as intended, aside from a slight "catch" on my draw, due to my less than professional (I suspect this is an easy fix with a bit of sandpaper and some fine-tuning)Overall, I hated having to modify my brand new holster right out of the box, but if it would have worked as intended from day 1, it would have been a 5-star product. That said, good luck finding another holster like this to fit the PT92, especially if yours has a tac rail, like mine.

Buy It!
I ordered this holster to carry my Taurus PT92. I had a hard time finding a holster locally that was specific for my firearm. I decided to give this one a try. The day after ordering the holster I received an email from the manufacturer thanking me for the business. First time that's happened ordering via Amazon. Amazon delivery date was anywhere from April 10th-May 8th. I received it on the 13th. So far the holster is all that I had anticipated and more. I had read that some issues were that sometimes the firearms seemed to have some play while holstered. Also read a couple of posts about retention, some wouldn't release and others wouldn't retain. These issues seem to be few and far between and I have not experienced any issues what so ever. I found that the factory setting on the cant to be right where I needed it. I did purchase the belt attachment to go with it but have not utilized it yet. The packaging that it came in was top notch. There was nothing skimpped on the holsters nor the packaging. If you're looking for a quality holster then you need to order this one. Thanks for providing a great product.

Finally a good holster for the PT-92AF
This is a very nice holster ... I have only found one other holster that will fit a Pt-92 w/ rail and it is leather and very tight fitting. It was designed for a Beretta M9A1 so minor stretchig was required. This holster is a retention holster, made of polymer with adjustable cant of the firearm.I am very pleased with this item and shipping was roughly two weeks from purchase date, not to bad, considering that it is made and shipped from Isreal. The fit of the holster is superb for the firearm and the retention is excellent. My only minor issue is that I am used to using the Serpa brand for my 1911 and the release lines up with the trigger, this release is above the trigger ( roughly on the bottom of the slide/frame intersection). Nothing that is a problem, I just need to train my finger to ride slightly higher to engage the release on this holster. Overall impression, 5 stars.
