Logic, MD APPROVES HERE!
THESE WILL TAKE ACTION AGAINST POOR/LOW ARCHES. THEY WILL CHANGE YOUR FEET.These are probably the only insole on the market that has the science behind their product. The arch is sturdy and actually supportive. It WILL change your feet over time for the better. How its done:Heel is comprised of hard plastic shell coated in rubber. Upon impact heel impacts plastic shell that holds rubber in shape. Rubber in heel smushes/compresses and conforms to your heel as it sinks in.As you heel sinks, your currently flat feet, or flattening feet (plantar fasciitus), lands on the sturdy arch redistributing the weight back onto your heel and ball. The heel of these soles are designed to take the extra shock from the newly redistributed weight. This process will slowly train you to walk properly and hopefully reshape your feet given time. The front is a very durable swede composite mix. Plus the antimicrobial top really helps.I have bought around 5 pairs of these over the 2+ years I have been wearing them. I used to get plantar faciitus from a lifetime of Vans, NIKE, etc.

After I realized how awesome they were
I first found these at Costco for $10. After I realized how awesome they were, I went back to get more but they haven't carried them since. For the cheap price, I figured they were junk, but they helped my feet feel so much better! I have two pairs of custom orthotics over $400 each and have contemplated foot surgery. I wear shoes everywhere except when I get in bed, just because I need the support. These feel better than my custom orthotics. They do wear out faster though. Expect them to last about 1 year.

No socks needed
Great alternative for boat shoes and other shoes worn without socks.

Good for knee problems as well
My wife found these at COSTCO several years ago, and of course they were discontinued within a year. We both use them, and were very glad to see the price come down on Amazon.Neither of us have significant foot problems, but have found them to be very helpful with our knees. In my case I have a problematic left knee that can make extended walks painfully unpleasant. With these Othera inserts I never have knee problems. My wife's knees are in worse shape, and she benefits even more from these inserts (she uses knee braces as well). We recently completed a 2 week walking tour with few problems. It's hard to put a monetary value serious reduction in pain, so these, at an affordable price, are very cost effective. I've bought a supply to make sure we will have them if they disappear from Amazon.

not intended for ball-of-foot support
These inserts are probably great for heel support. I need cushioning for the ball of my foot - particularly the big toes - both of which have been broken in sports injuries - and these are okay, not good or great for this type of condition
