Yellow Out Swimming Pool Chlorine Shock Enhancing Treatment - 4 lbs.

We have been fighting an algae outbreak in my pool for months. No matter how much chlorine I’d put in, I couldn’t completely rid the pool of algae. The algae was using up all the chlorine. I bought this stuff and followed directions exactly almost a week ago. Algae has been gone and my pool is finally holding chlorine!

we have a very large pool, 30,000 gal. and had been fighting green algae in the hot Florida weather for a few weeks using other products with no lasting results. poured the entire 4 lb container in and left the pump running all night. The next morning we had no algae but the water wasn't quite crystal clear. Adding 1 jug liquid chlorine that morning, it was clear by the end of the day. fantastic product at a really great price. 1 week later we have clear blue water still and the chemical balance is spot on. I am purchasing another 4 lb for the next time we see green algae starting.

This past summer here in the south brought a lot of flare ups on algae. We used Yellow Out but ended up using Bioguard shock (non bleaching for our vinyl pool liner) to get "on top" of the problem and then the Yellow Out to follow. We know the yellow out brand from previous usage over the years and we purchased from this seller because of the price.

This stuff is a miracle worker! My pool went green almost overnight.Within a half hour of using Yellow Out, followed by chlorine, it is blue and beautiful again.I keep it on hand.

It worked! Got rid of my yellow algae. Would buy again.

Disappointed – No Results Despite Following InstructionsOur pool is generally well-maintained, with proper chlorine and pH levels. However, a few days ago, we noticed the appearance of yellow mustard algae, even though the water remained clear.We initially followed the advice of our local pool company—boosted chlorine levels using two jugs and applied algaecide—but saw no improvement. Then, we tried this "Yellow Out" product along with a proper shock treatment, exactly as recommended.Unfortunately, it made no difference. The algae persists, and the product did not deliver the promised results. For us, it turned out to be a waste of money and completely ineffective.

Using to clear up yellowy brown algae along with shock it. But too early to tell if it’s going to work. Will add to this review after I give it some time to work.
