As I'm starting a new job on Monday, I wanted to spruce up my wardrobe a bit. I searched high and low, granted there's a pretty small distance between those two as I live in a fairly small town, but nevertheless I was determined to find a pair in store. Belk, Kohls, TJMaxx, Rue 21, Wally World, Old Navy and then finally Payless. Payless was my last hope. I walked in, the women were rude, finally after browsing one came up, gave me the "special's spiel" and went on her merry way. I found a pair that I actually liked for $24 and found a pair of random shoes that were a $1 with "the sale". I also picked up a pair of buy one get one free no-show socks. I thought about it for a minute, and decided to search Amazon real quick....found this pair within a minute. So I decide to put my shoes back and order these; I did keep the socks though. I get up to the counter, and the stereotypical 'I'm angry that my parents are making me get a stupid job, so I'm going to be a giant a-hole to everyone' college girl say's "you put your shoes back...?" as if questioning my sanity as to why I would ever reject her special over priced black pointy flats and mulberry mini heels (the $1 shoe I picked). "Yea, I didn't particularly care for the $1 shoes, and one pair at $24 seemed a little high, so I hopped on Amazon real quick and found a pair....but I would like these socks, please." *Blank/annoyed stare as she rings up the socks.* "That'll be $6.87" "Ummm....they're supposed to be buy one get one free, and one pair is $3.99, so I'm not understanding the math there..." "They're buy one get one HALF OFF" "Oh, well that's not what the other lady said. *attempting to diffuse the situation* you know what, I'm sure I just misheard, my bad. *I know dang good and well I heard correctly. I'm 25 and I'm starting to get wrinkles....but my hearing is still fully intact*. "You know, $6.87 is a bit to rich for my blood for just two pairs. I'll have to pass on these as well, sorry to waste your time." "Yea." To wrap this story up, I'd like to note that two of the most adorable little old ladies were in the store and I'd overheard 'angry college girl' being super rude to them. You can be rude to me, but if you're rude to a white, permed, and short haired little 85 year old that's wearing a sweater which says 'I love my grandkids', you probably won't be forgiven at the pearly gates for that one...just sayin'.Now, onto THESE bad boys. The suede actually looks nice and well done. The fit is great, I ordered an 8.5 (my normal size) and their true to size. I will say, they're pretty narrow. I have narrow feet so they fit me nice and snug, but if you had wider feet, or bunions, you'd probably want to look elsewhere, or order a wide if they have them. Comfy to walk in, I don't expect blister, albeit I'm going to be sitting in a cubicle, not a lot of physical activity involved there. My only complaint (which is why I gave 4 stars), is that on the inside of the shoe, they didn't set the top layer down correctly, so there's a bump. That probably makes no sense, but I took a picture to show you.Overall great shoes and I'm overjoyed by the price. I will never shoe shop among actual humans again...only Amazon robot shopping from now on.

Just got these a few days ago, wore them for the first tine today.I was pretty impressed with these when I put them on. Color's a true taupe the fit is SO comfortable. Ive got long fingers and toes and these covered my toes completely. The cushioned areas are well placed, walking is very comfortable without additional support though eventually I'd probably put in an insole anyway because.....flats.Size is a true fit, my foot is very comfortable including the toe box. Nothing feels cramped or too loose.The dealbreaker is I think the material which is a double edged sword.On one hand its great that its soft, because there's no breaking in period for wearing the shoes. Unfortunately that softness also enables creasing very easily. Ive walked maybe 1/2 - 3/4 of a mile in these today and and have a very noticable crease about a quarter inch down from the point of the toe box. I read in some other reviews about this but i thought it would take more time for the crease to happen and I could deal with that.This is bothering me alot more than I thought it would as it does ruin the visual appeal of the shoe. I was going to get the blacks of these too and interchange them daily for work ....but I may have to go with something thats made of firmer material and just try to break them in. I'm really not sure.Im not really docking a star for this but should mention that the right shoe also had some slight discoloration on the left side of the toe box.Edit: I've worn these shoes about 3 more times since initially posting this review, walknog the same total distance with long breaks in between. The crease doesn't seem to be getting any worse, so I'm guessing if you walk for only 15 or 20 mins at a time with long breaks in between the crease has time to kind of recover. I'll be getting the blacks ones.

Cute but runs a bit big

These just arrived yesterday so I can't speak to how long term they will hold up, but the quality surpassed my expectation for the price! They are even more attractive in person. They are a richer color and have a soft suede-type feel. The top of the shoe covers enough so that I dont have any toe-cleavage (not that that is a deal break or not for me, but I know some buyers may care about that kind of thing). They are fairly comfortable. I wore them all day yesterday out running errands and shopping. I only had a little pinching on one of my feet that is slightly wider than the other, but I'm hoping that shoe will soften up and break in a bit over time. Otherwise they held up great and my feet were surprisingly happy for having worn a brand new shoe all day. Love the pointed toe, its just perfect! I would order again for sure.I removed a star because shipping took longer than originally stated when I ordered. I guess that's not a problem if you order prime, but the "fast and free" was slow and they moved the arrival date when the original arrival date came and went and they still hadn't even shipped. That annoyed me enough that I almost cancelled my order several times. I'm glad I stuck it out though because I am very happy to have these in my closet now.

I'm sure for someone who likes pointy toed shoes these would be great..... I was looking for a pair of flats for my 8-year-old daughter to go with her nice dress outfit and even though the title says pointy toe the pictures that I saw at the time did not reflect how pointy they really were. Upon arrival they looked very much like something that should be worn by a business dressed woman. Nothing wrong with these shoes I'm sure but we sent them back for a refund, as they were not what I was looking for.

The shoes arrived on time but the black is not a real black, it's more like a mauve dark. I like and I will wear them.
