I love writing in this journal and I do almost everyday. The leather exterior of the journal is thick and feels great. The pages are thick paper and writing in it is very satisfying. The rugged and “ancient” feel of it is really something enjoyable and makes it feel like an experience, not just like an ordinary journal.Once I fill up my current journal I will absolutely buy another one to take its place. I will be able to save the old one to reflect on for a long, long time because it’s high quality and clearly made with the intention to last a while.You really can’t go wrong here if you want a super durable journal.

The leather is beautiful, the cover is beautiful with the Dove, the paper is a beautiful quality, the pen also writes beautifully. The binding allows the pages to open beautifully without the usual struggle to keep the book open when writing. It includes a beautiful easy grip pen AND I bought their matching leather bookmarks with the beautiful Dove embossed on each one. I think this is the best journal I have ever bought--and I have many.The leather strap tie closure is flexible, keeping the journal securely closed~ beautifully..Worth every pretty penny!

We love genuine leather. Found a similar journal at Cracker Barrel without the horse nor pen . This one is inexpensive and you can smell the leather. Perfect gift for writers and Father’s Day.

I really love this journal but ,1 on top of pages they have small rips and bends. 2 it didn't come with book mark like advertised. looked on sight to get in touch with company it gives you a link click on it nothing,would like to have delt with them in stead of having to return it. very disappointed. Afraid of ordering another one :( would have given it 5 stars buuttt,no contact with company :(

It looks & feels good quality. There a place inside the cover to clip the pen. I’ve added the pen in the picture that shows the lovely leather around it. I’m a cat lover & going away on a holiday which I plan to write a diary about. Perfect for the job. 10/10
