Pruning is easy with this saw - Made in Japan
I purchase this saw based on my previous experience using Vaughan Bear Saw BS240P, a smaller, extra fine blade saw I had for a long time (also made in Japan, and it's on third replacement blade now). I was using it to prune a big branch and bent it a little bit - the teeth on the blade were too fine for that. Also, I could not find a replacement blade on Amazon. Instead, I purchased this one, BS333C, a bigger saw (12 inch in length, although it says 13 inch blade length which is 333mm, hence the name) with more coarse teeth (according to the package, "impulse hardened, tri-edged teeth, stay sharp longer'). The blade fits the handle from the previous saw, which I am familiar and easy to grip. As expected for brand new blade, it cuts easily and quickly. I hope to take care of this saw better than my previous ones.

It still fits the handle that’s over 15 years old.
Cutting tree limbs is easy. The old blade had three broken teeth and still worked. It does hold a sharp edge. Well worth the money.

Great saw.
Have had this saw for years. Love it. Blade finally needs sharpening. Accounting for time and shopping, just cheaper to replace. Will still keep old blade for Christmas tree hunting.

A very sharp saw, both literally and figuratively!
I've owned two of these saws and they are fantastic. They are especially great for pruning apple trees and such. They cut on the pull stroke which seems to make the cut that much easier. The relatively low price is also a bonus.

Verrrry sharp
This little saw replacement blade is EXACTLY what I needed for my handsaw by Fiskars . It cuts as you draw back and is very strong and sharp , I highly recommend this company !

As others have written; this blade is excellent for branches. I like that I could order the blade by Vaughan as I already owned the fine tooth finish blade, excellent product(s).

Great Blade
If you're ordering a replacement blade you already know that this is a great little saw. Love it for quick cuts when I don't want to bother getting the cordless saw out.
