My plants were really suffering due to the fact that my apartment only has one window in my living my room. It really sucks and I should of thought about that before becoming an avid plant lover! But I didn't and I have become kinda attached to my plants so when I noticed some of them seemed to be dying, I was freaking out. Within less than 2 weeks of having this product , life seems to of been given back to my babies(plants) I am so thankful I bought this. The timer is a nice feature , and the lights can be set to three different types of light , and you have the choice of 3 different brightness options. Better directions would of been great but they do offer a video on Amazon that was very informative on how to operate their product. Definatly would recommend this to anyone wanting to help their plants soak up some rays. Also this needs to be clipped onto a table and is not freestanding so keep that in mind as far as to where you plan on setting it up in your home. I had to put my plants in a different place than I usually keep them due to this .

I have heard good things about grow lights, and some of my plants were looking really sad, as winter continued to shorten the days. I set this thing up with expectations that it would merely give a bit more assistance, but not really expecting too much. They don't let off any heat, just red or blue, or red and blue lights.It is a weird purple glow, but I had a plant, that I only had bulbs for and it would not grow. I put it under this lamp and within about 3- 4 weeks I had 2 leaves! I also used it to propagate and gift several cuttings to friends, and normally I would have had to wait until spring/summer to have longer daylight. Definitely recommend getting one of these, especially if you live somewhere without a lot of window space. It has been super helpful to me.

I bought this because during the winter i wasn’t getting the most sun and it was constantly raining/ overcast. It did it’s job and was super easy to use. I will say I never figured out the timer function. I clamp it onto my shelf and it is super solid/ sturdy. The one thing I will say is that the box I plug into the wall does get pretty warm after only an hour of use. I don’t know if that is a bad thing but I’m a little paranoid and never leave it on when I’m not home.

I really liked the lights overall, but I docked a couple of stars because it randomly stopped working after my dad unplugged it without me knowing. The timer doesn't show a blue light half the times when plugged in. If I manage to get the timer to turn on, it stops after one cycle, and won't turn back on. I think the wiring was done too poorly to handle a simple unplugging (trust me, my dad is not violent when he unplugs things), but I still can't imagine why it would randomly stop working like that. When it did work, though, my plants seemed to really like it and it helped curb etiolation.Edit 12/10/2020:I dropped my review to 1 star because I had contacted both Amazon and the seller (via report a problem & email listed on warranty) and neither have responded to me. This product really should not be breaking when it's unplugged normally, and both Amazon & Shengsite will not cooperate to resolve this. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Winter time and we had to bring in the lemon treeIt's still fruiting and we don't want it to stop, so in comes the lights.These are very bright, clipped right on the pot, and basically surrounded the area that didn't see light from the window.It's running cool and the timer is spot onI can already see an improvement in the plant

I am growing herbs, orchids and various other plants. This was my second purchase and I am so happy. Nice sturdy construction, very adaptable. Excellent product.UPDATE! My growlight just died, and the problem was the adaptor. The thing with the actual plug. All I had to do was get another one. A cheap fix, and I'm very happy that this light is still viable. The adaptor, once I really looked at it, is the only part of this light that looks and feels cheap.SO! Don't toss this light until you check out the adaptor.

This grow light is pretty great. It has kept my bonsi tree alive in a not so great natural light environment. When I purchased this I must have missed where it said there was a time function and was a surprise when I received it. The timer is great! The brightness of the lights are superb and the overall build is compared to something I feel I would have paid $50-$75 for. Overall pleased with my purchase.

This is new to me, so I can't speak to its efficacy or how it holds up over time, but it's fantastic out of the box. Easy to set up, easy to understand, all functions work great so far and the light colors are really cool and kept my 12 year old entertained while I cooked dinner.😂I have five foot flourescent grow bulbs in the closet because I haven't bothered to put them in the laundry room ceiling. I have a hand me down grow lamp with instructions I just can't understand, but with this light, I was able to plug and play right away. I thank you and my herb garden that had to come inside for the winter thanks you.
