This cleaning kit for AK pattern rifles is NEW, nicely packaged, and well protected in cosmoline when shipped. All the correct parts are present, and well fitted into the correct tubular metal case that is shown. Condition observed is 100%. This was purchased as an accessory to go along with a collectible AK. Very nice addition.

Holy cosmoline Batman! This thing was brand new and jammed with that favorite com-bloc preservative grease. I haven’t seen that much since I picked up my SKS back in the '90s right out of the box from China. Paper towels will be your friend. All pictured parts were included and in perfect condition. I have another on order and hope it’s just as good as this one.***Update***The second kit arrived, and it was a different story. No grease/cosmoline at all, I had to apply some in fear of it beginning to rust. All the parts were included as pictured and appeared to be in new condition, but the case looks like it has been riding around in a butt stock for a while. I had to bend the cap a bit as it was out-of-round and wickedly tight on the tube. Both kits were from the same seller so I guess it's luck of the draw on these things.

Surplus kits for AK-47... these will not fit WASR-10.. you need to order a WASR-10 cleaning kit... Most of the Former Soviet countries no longer use the 7.62x39 so these Govt. surplus items are being sold off... sometimes it is pot luck on this stuff... mine came with all the parts shown plus some little pin.. the capsule had a rusty spot on the cap... other than that everything was in good order...I have Magpul furniture on mine so the capsule is of no use to me... the Magpul pistol grip has a storage area but it is not big enough for the capsule and not deep enough for the brush... in order to get the patch tip in the grip I had to cut it off to where it is just a Jag so you can only push a patch through... I have bench kits so this is just enough to get me out of a jam in the field... the punch and screw driver fit fine but since the capsule actually creates the T-handle it is kind of limited... no matter.. the screw on a Magpul grip is recessed too far to use it anyway... the little notch on the side of the screw driver is a wrench to tighen and loosen the brush and Jag... the opposite end is your front sight tool... you would be smart to buy a Tapco front sight tool so you can set your windage and elevation on a range... anyway the price is decent and these surplus kits are about the only thing you can get that will work with the rod that goes on the rifle

I got exactly what I hoped. Kit was new. Tube was clean with no rust and not bent. Tools inside were lightly coated in grease. All parts shown were included, including the pin.

The cleaning kit came well packaged. It came with a slight amount of cosmoline or some sort of lubricant over it and all the parts seem to be NOS. Worth the price.

I have a Norinco SKS. This fits the butt stock well, and the parts screw onto the cleaning rod (Not perfectly but good enough in a pinch). Mine appears unissued but did have a small patch of rust on the cap

Arrived in great condition just as advertised in protective grease. I used a can of brake cleaner to clean off all of the grease. The bristles on the brush are in great condition and are stiff. The finish on the parts are all in like new condition as if it was never used. I guess I lucked out on this one because I’m happy with my purchase.
